Team Switzerland press conference with Roger Federer and Belinda Bencic after their victory in the final of the Hopman Cup 2019.

Those suggesting Belinda was carried by Roger should (re-)watch the doubles finals of this year and last (when I believe she won 3 singles?). She held her own under great pressure. Roger could not even have played in the Hopman Cup without Belinda, let alone won it twice in a row. Belinda is the first Swiss woman since Martina Hingis who is capable of partnering him. I'm thrilled that they won and had such a good time.

face it, when roger retires, no one is really going to watch the hopman cup. if roger played at the brisbane international like he did a few years ago, no one followed the hopman cup then. in this country, roger is bigger than tennis.

I agree. Switzerland is a rogue country. Its is a haven for black and unaccounted money. Many corrupt politicians in the world and business men who evade tax in their countries put their money in Swiss banks and no question asked.
