It’s sad that Hopman cup would end this year...every year if I had a chance...I’ll always watched it...hearing it’s the last edition...so many memories running through my head and definitely missing Mrs Lucy Hopman herself...it’s been a prestigious tournament and yes quite a coveted but underrated exhibition match...thank you Hopman Cup for all the memories and contributing such greatness to this wonderful sport and attract worlds best players around the globe...and finally congrats to the last champions...we are privileged to witness Federer and Williams encounter at last....Good luck for the future....

Kerber lost her singles and doubles final in Sydney 2016. She later won AO 2016 after nearly losing her 1st round match. So, she should be able to take something positive based on past experience.

Impressiona non tanto lo stupore dei giovani, quanto la "riverenza" quasi in forma di rispetto estremo di compagni e avversari. Poi quando prende la parola, diventa il padrone della situazione! Tutti attendono il suo discorso, dialoga affabilmente con compagni e chiunque altro, tutti pendono dalle sue labbra. This is an exhibition tournament. So it counts towards nothing. Which is why Zverev was so carefree in his speech. If this was a tournament with real points at stake he wouldn't be talking that jokingly
