This event is mainly considered as a qualifier for the Olympics (the top 14 of each event will qualify), not so much a big media/money event. Unfortunately that means that in certain events some elite American athletes won't show up, since USA will also make top 14 without them.

And they have dropped various other relay events such as shuttle relay and 4x200m. I hope at least those who made the US roster will show up for the event.
