I heard that the reason Glenn doesn't have any similarity in name to Dennis like Charlie (Charlie Day) and Mac (Rob McElhenney) do is that he doesn't feel particularly associative with the character. So it makes sense that he'd make that correction. He absolutely nails the character though!

For a second I was thinking that the guys from It's Always Sunny look so young still. Then I realized this isn't a clip from Conan's show last night because Conan's talkshow doesn't even exist anymore.

I'm really loving all these "Always Sunny" and Charlie Day interviews Team Coco is putting up lately, especially since I'm currently in the process of catching up. I believe I'm near the end of season 13 at this point.

REALLY?! The new seasons 1st 2 episodes suck. They are all too primped and preened, toned and tanned, to even resemble the characters anymore. It feels so transparent and unauthentic. It doesn't feel like Mac and Charlie and Dennis at all, it seems like Rob and Charlie and Glenn just halfheartedly spewing the lines. All good things come to an end. This show finally died.

The new season is... okay. I like the return to simplicity and (relative) groundedness. The writing isn't as strong as earlier seasons and the jokes miss more than they land. But it's good to see them again regardless.

@@kidwave1 i know the newer episodes arent so great but until someone comes along and makes something better than Sunny in its prime then it will remain the funniest show ever made…see how that works? They gave us a good 12 solid seasons at least full of classics

@@user-qc6wi3dw5x Exactly. They all look so GQ that you cant see them as the "dirtbags" they are supposed to be playing. The first 3 episodes seem very thinly veiled, and like they are just "phoning it in"

@@kidwave1 i agree…Mac’s voice sounds different now too which throws me off. Charlie’s the only one who kinda looks the same. And Frank. But most of all the new material just isnt that funny. It has a few moments but overall its nowhere near what it used to be. The podcast is litterally funnier than the show now…how can that be? Just them being themselves is hilarious…are they trying too hard? The last apisode (episode 3) I thought was a great topic (curses and bad omens)…I think if that was done in thier prime it could’ve been a hilarious epide…but they dropped the ball

I've been watching the podcast with them and going through season, up to season 4 now. The episode released today was so bad compared to the earlier seasons, yikes. And I love the show and love them all.

So Conan is to blame for the Simpsons going downhill! One of the things that caused me to stop watching the Simpsons around seasons 6 or 7 was how dumb and selfish Homer was becoming. He was never bright but he used to have the biggest heart, but yeah they made him a shifty, conniving moron around the mid 90s and it kills me
