Part b: Calculate the damage per second you would do if you were using a weapon with 300 lighting damage to a dodogama. (Assume all attacks are done on the head)

This could possibly go higher... When a monster receives the "defense down attack" from Barnos/Deviljho/Acidic Glavenus you'll see something like a de-buff on it (looks like white smoke coming out from their body). That probably means those attack could also weaken the defense of monsters and at least make a difference. Should be worth a shot IMO.

Well it could work, but if it doesn’t change the defense number of the monster and instead lowers the hit zone value, it would not work on dodogama. However, if it could lower the hit zone values of any monster... maybe a weaker monster could be tested on? Preferably one that is less resistant to other elements? If not then we will need to wait for the update of this vid using safi, raging bra, or maybe Kulve weapons.

This was immeasurably satisfying and enjoyable to watch. Even though I use DB and LBG mostly, I can appreciate a single super-powered attack all the same. Great job!

Thank you so much for this video and it's predecessor. I quite enjoy getting to know the gears inside the clock, but most certainly do not have the patience to reverse engineer them miself. This explanation was verry good, and MUCH more interesting than just reading a wiki page 17 times in a row hoping to understand, or at least notice, the little details I most certainly didn't catch in the first 15 readings.

Element caps can be raised by augmenting for element, then just eat for attack along with some other attack buffs to get back up to the damage cap and you should get a higher number. Haven't tested it, but in theory it might work, maybe

the reason why me wasnt very surprised or hpyed that u awesome guys will reach it is that I have forseen it after I saw the 6471 version BUT at last I had goosebumps on my entire body when the final hit and legends never die comes up. you know to make us hunters speechless cuz I am but with a very big smile. if its true that capcom will support mhw for 3 years I'm very sure you WILL hit far beyond the 10 or 15 k mark. The amount of time and research you put into this video really shows. Your execution is always on another level. But doing something like this AND explaining the entire thing so it's easy to understand? That's even more impressive. Being able to teach someone else is what shows true mastery and complete understanding.
