A wonderful collection and variety of antique and vintage teapots, and a couple from the hotel ware tea pot variety!

Cobwebs and Cords The cute little Art Deco one is my absolute favourite. You have a really nice collection. I’m intrigued by the Hall bronze and cobalt teapot. Maybe repainted ? Looking forward to the next video. Di

Thanks Di! The Art Deco one is so fun, I should cleaned it up 🤦‍♀️ The bronze/cobalt one is odd, right? I thought maybe repainted, but it would be an amazing job, I can’t find any flaws!! Thanks for watching :)

I have a teapot collection as well, and I use them all at my table. I recently became aware of that pretty Sadler bell shaped one. So pretty! It's like a skirt! 😊 I don't have any silver or pewter pots. It will be neat to learn about them from you. 🩶

I'm a teapot addict as well! 98% of my collection is ceramic instead of metal. I lovee novelty teapots like cardew, rington, sadler, portmeirion, swineside etc.

Not sure how to spell it but those Pickett ware teapots are so cool! When were those made? That Sadler teapot shape is amazingggg and the Art Deco one is so unique and to die for.

Aww thank you for watching and enjoying the shapes and styles as much as I do! 🙌 the Picquot Ware was made in the UK, they were in business until a few years ago and even offered refurbishment of their old pieces as part of their business. Such wonderful pieces. 🙌🤓

I found vintage silver tea pot. But I see mineral deposit inside the spout which can't get rid of it:( Idk this is normal for vintage and antique items but Can't find any information or how to clean..

Oooh sometimes they are difficult. I let mine soak with polident and use small bottle and straw cleaners to get to small spaces. Good luck 🙌

I just bought an antique Biedermeier 1850s teapot off Etsy which looks straight out of a mad tea party and was wondering if you think if would be safe if I used it. I heard recently that you had to be careful with such old antique teapots and dishes since they can leach a lot of lead into your tea or food since high levels of lead was used in dishes in those days. I was wondering what your take was on this. I wouldn’t mind too much to just have my quirky antique tea wares for display but was really hoping to be able to use them safely for tea parties, company etc. Thoughts?

You definitely have to do some searching and figure out if it’s safe. I’d love to see a photo of your teapot (if you’d like to email or send me a message on socials). I have some teapots in my collection that I’m not comfortable drinking out of, some that I only use rarely, and some that I use all the time. For tea parties you can always display the ones that you don’t use as a centre piece 🙌💕🎉

I have a beat up silver teapot that I leave out and use to water my plants. It's so old that the spot is wearing back.....It came with a dint in the side as well. I just bought another vintage Sadler for 3 bucks to use for watering as well, because my plant collection has grown - I like standing water so chlorine evaporites. I don't like tea but I love the pots...their beautiful. I'm going to look for a tall pot that will hold 4 cups coffee cream now. I like to use things rather than just look at them.
