Hi Joyce, congratulations and thank you for sharing your story. I know exactly everything you were feeling. I have been documenting my IVF journey on KZfaq and while sharing brings in so much support and love from this amazing community of strong women, it can also be really difficult at times bc you do relive the trauma... but also release it, in a way. Anyway, I am still in it now after 7 egg retrievals and 3 transfers, but its really nice to hear & relate to your story. I also live in the bay area but came to Korea for IVF and have been here a while now, and hopefully i also have a happy ending. Sending you and your family lots of good energy.❤

Congrats!!!! I went through almost the same journey as you. We moved from CA to WA during my IVF treatment. We also bought a house before we moved except that we moved from an apartment. I also got my cycle canceled due too. Totally agree with you the ups and downs and all the confusion despite my science background. You are so brave to do the shots yourself.. so brave!!!

I feel the same way that you described of feeling hopeful and not too hopeful so your heart doesn't break. I did 3 IUI's all without success. I had to take a break for about a year and a half because it took such an emotional toll. I am in my 2nd IVF cycle. I just had my embryo transferred 2 days ago and I will find out in 8 days if it worked this time! 🤞

Your story gives me so much hope. My 1st transfer failed. Planning our 2nd transfer next month. You said you continued with progesterone shot before switching to suppository until after few weeks of positive test. My dr has put me on vaginal & oral because she thinks it’s just as effective. Do you mind sharing if your dr suggested any difference between using the progesterone shot and vaginal and if that would make any difference? Thank you :)

We did several ovulation shots, 3 IUI, 2 IVF with ICSI method (fresh and cryo)… supporting with TCM, herbs, tons of shots and medications… I got even overstimulation of my ovaries by the very first IVF cycle, so had to stay for 10 days in a hospital. 😢 I just hope to get our dream comes true soon ❤ We try to conceive our first baby ❤ I will have my next visit at the clinic to plan everything the coming week… it always feels so scary and strange… 😢
