I use the DT 1990s and they’re great, it doesn’t really matter too much which ones you use, you just have to reference your mixes and get used to the sound

Is there a reason why you are leaving all of the low end (-100hz) in top loops, hats, synths, vocals etc. Isn't that likely to collide with the kick/bass or muddy up the mix?

I’m a beginner. Been learning for about a year now. What’s the point of having more than 3 eq 8s on the kick? Why wouldn’t you just adjust it how you want on the one?

i learned this from the odd mob breakdown too - it makes it easier to A/B test how you like what each EQ is doing by just turning each one on/off, and you can more easily undo one if you don’t like it
