Two videos in one day...you are breaking my calendar...now I don't know what day it is! Pretty cool that they included the power injector. That's an extra cost of Ubiquiti. Looks like a lot of vents for air flow. Anything that has weight to it and requires a lot of vents to keep it cool has GOT to be powerful! Like Tim Allen said on Home Improvement...."More Power!!"

Yeah just felt like a better idea to split those into two videos. Didn’t mean to mess up Tech Tuesday for you. Thanks for your reflections on this. Yes that is true the PoE injector usually is an extra cost. Nice. Oh and I remember that “More Power” from my TV watching past. 🤣

Thanks 🙏 Just put this gear at the top of the wish list and keep your fingers crossed. Oh some money will help. That’s what stops me buying everything on my wish list.

I do prefer the look (and cost) of the cAP ac which has similar hardware. The XL is probably configured as a router by default like the smaller model, so connect up to the LAN port. Plug and play and minimal configuration isn't really MikroTik's thing.

Thank you so much for your advice. Let’s see how the plug and play turns out. Yes I will actually be surprised if it just works without any heavy configuration. Oh the adventure begins. Thanks for watching.

Optimal wireless configuration only takes about 5 minutes, the fine tuning after takes long term testing.
