I loved what another reactor interpreted his "Like I Ain't" to mean: He still raps like someone who has never done any of the things he has done, he has the same fire and same motivation. He never got complacent.

Tech9 has been on my playlist for about 15 yrs, named my dog Tech Nine and have met him many times. He is the goat of any indendent artist or even a signed artist. His biggest regret is not ever gettin with 2Pac.

I also grew up in Kansas City. I lived a few blocks from where Tech and Rich lived. Well where Tech lived when he was a kid. I lived off Independence avenue and The Paseo area North East. Lived in a few different places all in North East though. When I was a kid Rich had cars parked all around the block, was the craziest thing to me. I didn't know him personally since I was probably 9 10 years old at the time but everybody knew of him and whose cars they were haha.

Tech and Hop have at least 5 songs together and beyond that Merkules did a song that featured them both. They have a very strong relationship. While all are great my favorite is Hopsin "Rip Your Heart Out" ft Tech N9ne. I'd love to see you react to this one and I recommend the lyric video.

The point of this song isn't about him showing off what he has done. He is saying that he is rapping like he ain't done all the shit he has done. Rapping like he is still in the hood hungry to get that bag. Also on the rock bit. He has two songs with Corey Taylor of Slipknot. Withered is a Tech Track and CMFT can't be stopped which Tech is featured on. He has a track with Serj Tankian of System of a Down titled Straight out the gate. Absolutely amazing track. 10/10 do recommend. There is a cover of "Momma said knock you out" that he did with Five Finger Death Punch. Starting to Turn is a track he did with Jonathan Davis of Korn. I'm sure there is probably more but that is all I can name off the top of my head.

Was at a friend's house when their daughter came running in yammering about this great fantastic new video that just debuted, "It had Run-D.M.C. and this band of old guys. It was really cool, and these old guys were dope for being old guys. If they work at it they just might make something of themselves." The band she was talking about was, of course, Arrowsmith. To answer your question a lot of Tech’s day 1 fans began questioning him because of his success and they were saying Tech N9ne sold out so he can go mainstream. He addressed it on I believe it was his All 6’s and 7’s album but he just reiterated it because fans still claim it. Also like you said because he’s more in the limelight and more people are discovering him and he’s just saying look I’ve been here doing this I ain’t new in this game just new in this spotlight

Definitely check out the Kathartic series from tech in order to get the context because youre right it is a short film, and the one with Jelly is incredible definitely a song that will make you sit back and go “wow!” As for tech doing rock he has done stuff with slipknot, five finger death punch,and serj Tankian from system of a down come to mind right off, the man kills it in any genre he touches

You've known tech for a long time so, I'm sure you have heard of World Wide Choppers, if not it's a must. As well as Speedom. Tech is a VERY deep rabbit whole, as you already know. Kriss Kaliko has several tracks, maybe you can follow up on Kriss. Super Talented.

Yes he was working on a song with Tupac but it was never fully finished before his death. Posthumously it was remixed and Tech was taken off of it.

The premise of this song is that he is still rapping as if he hadn't done any of the things he listed. He's still hungry and still improving. Also, this video is part of a 30+ minutes "season" with like 5 songs and a story being told. This is episode 2.
