They are the same for earlier and later, so I guess they want you to just refer to the earlier chart. :D I am so grateful for all of your good humor and thorough videos! THANKS for the light you drop on understanding the manual... i did bought but it was hard to read, specially the electric system. I suggestion, if possible, to do shorter videos with the diagram and then a physical view of it... it would be great! thanks again

It is the heater for the crank case vent tube on the top of the engine. It keeps that tube from getting gummed up with oil sludge in the winter. If you look at the intake boot you will see a unit near it that has a plug on it. That is the heater you are talking about. It should be hot when the key is on.

hello can u tell me what the manifold heater does, i have a melted red cable connection in the black box upper left engine compartment. The red wire coming from the front/underneathe the car going to the black box has 12v contineu, that red cable goes to the manifold heater. doesnt it need to be key on 12v, now the heater gets power all the time??? thanks
