Hello again and thanks for the video. I gave my younger son, a Desert Eagle but unfortunately of another brand as back then, I could not afford a WE. It did not bring any problems so far. Putting the valve knocker in was not as difficult as it seemed at first. I inserted it from the rear, whilst rotating it, so as to make it go in. Then, I used gravity to let it rest inside the assembly upside-down. I took a small flathead screwdriver to manipulate the spring-arm into the valve knocker's slot. It happened just like that: much easier than I anticipated. Refitting the hammer-spring was more challenging though. I had to use so much force with the pliers, that I did not believe that I could manage it like that. So, tried a different approach: I took the retainer between my index-finger and thumb. Then, I pressed the retainer firmly onto the spring-strut combination, pushing it just enough as to be able to push the retainer into its target location in a swift motion. I was surprised that it appeared to be that easy, although it was also quite "dangerous", as the retainer and spring could have launched themselves into oblivion just as well. So, no pliers were needed for that. Just lots of strength in your fingers to push the retainer against the spring, and some control as to make it lock itself in its intended location. At first, I thought that the tip of my index-finger was in the way, but then I figured it out: rotate the index-finger gently, thereby pushing the retainer into its locking location. It was easy, once I noticed that it worked, but it wasn't planned. Just a case of incidental luck and intuition.

ty for the quick assembly

I'm having an issue with the installation of the slide. The trigger assembly works fine when isolated with the frame. However, when I put on the slide, pulling the trigger does not release the hammer, it seems and feels like the bar is pressed down into the safe position even though the safety is off. I also noticed that with the slide off, the trigger bar does not rebound smoothly as you showed in 36:51 (It instead stays depressed until I lightly tap the trigger releasing it) . Do you know what could be causing this problem?
