This video was truly enlightening! I'm amazed by the variety of unique and useful gadgets that Amazon offers for home use. That moen shutoff valve is now 500bucks! I'm still good with turning a 1/4turn ball valve in the garage when I leave town. Cost is FREE.

Litter box deodorizer: Interesting, if the noise doesn't freak out the cat. Brilliant: Nothing is as dumb as a 'smart' home. Overhead faucet: I think you'd have to design your kitchen around it. Hardly worth the cost or trouble. Water sensor: Yeah, that's probably worth sticking by your water heater and washing machine. Floodlight cam: Lot of similar products on the market. Nothing new here. Generally you want a total home security system, which this could be a part of. Portable range hood: Now this could be useful for me, as I live in a hundred year old apartment building with no ventilation. $170 is a little pricey, though. Indoor composting: Nope. Oh, hell no. Clothesline: Seems somewhat more ergonomic that others I've come across. Pedestal fan: Just get a ceiling fan, you'll be happier. Oversized recliner: I'm ashamed to admit I'm degenerate enough to want one. Doorwing: That's an interesting way to handle rugrats, assuming they can't squeeze through the gap. Space heater: Very nice, especially at that price. Alfabot: Eh, doing windows sucks, but I don't know if that's any less of a hassle. Maybe if you have really big bay windows. Comfier: That could work. Most foot massagers are a pain to store when you're not using them, but if it's an ottoman the rest of time, that problem goes away. Pet dryer: Beats trying to towel off an angry ball of fur and claws, but too pricey for me. Lightbulb camera: Now that's convenient, especially if you have a light fixture outside your door. Price is right, too. Water filter: Better off getting a Berkey. Outdoor solar lights: Those are ubiquitous. Haven lock: It's usefulness depends on how solid your door, frame, and floor are. And any 'smart' device that can you leave you locked out if something goes wrong isn't very smart at all. Tie rack: Even if, God forbid, you have that many ties, why would you need a battery powered motor rack for them? Herbs: Not my thing, but I know some people who'd like it. Airleo: I think that's just blowing slightly cooled air one way and slightly warmed air the other, plus it's bulky and expensive. Hard pass. Twinkly squares: The pixels would have to be much smaller and the squares much bigger for me to even consider it, let alone it'd still be overpriced. Rainwater collector: Good idea and should be more common, but can get you arrested in some places. Times Gate: I could see that being useful, especially when gaming or watching movies. Time, weather, appointments, texts, and e-mails. Holopet: Eh, not really for me. I didn't like tamagotchis when they came out, let alone now. And I have no doubt it'll be ridiculously overpriced for what it is, a nightstand clock. Aegis: While it's better than a lot of 'smart' locks in that you can still use a key to get in, there's a lot ways it could go wrong. Still, if you insist on a keyless entry option, this is one of the better ways to go.

I loved this thank you! The range hood looks tempting because my husband would be able to use one for projects. But you’re right, at the price for it being a small size it might not even work how he needs it. My dog would love the airleo since we actually have a portable window unit just for his dog bed in the summer. lol. I definitely agree with you on a virtual pet. Killing off a tamagotchi is traumatic for me, let’s not relive that shame

yep, people would buy as "special" fan...... we just put a $20 box fan in the open kitchen window an it works fine.. I guess there's some "precious" idiots out there that would buy it cuz they dont like the smell of food cooking???? such a waste of money making us more and more lazy..... cant walk 20 feet to dump you food in the compost.. man I'm disabled and I do..... whats wrong with people, technology is making them LAZY

That water filter at the 1015 mark 300 odd dollars for something u can do with just boiling some water then cooling it ,that will kill most bugs or bacteria Why spend 350 odds on something u can do better with a wee bit of heat and if u are worried about any particles in it then get a 10 dollar water filter and boil your water and pour it through it once it's cooled down and u jave saved yourself $340 in cash

That's silly. If your microwave is properly shielded like they all are, there's no problem. It doesn't accumulate, and it's not the same as radioactivity. Totally harmless.

I don't even know why I'm subscribed to this channel, I can never manage to make it more than half way through a vid. I don't normally get annoyed by music and have a pretty high tolerance I think, but this stuff is next level annoying and cheesy.

@@emergentform1188 They've been doing this for years, same cheesy KZfaq library tracks, over and over, with the overly-chirpy British announcer. I tell myself to not click on these anymore, but after a few months I forget which "tech" channel this is and suddenly I'm back in hell. And the content is so inconsistent. They swoon over things like retractable clothes drying lines that have been sold for decades. Ugh!
