I’ve had this amplifier paired with some B&W 706 S2 speakers for the last six months and am very pleased with it. It is highly capable. Thank you for the English review.

The 706 S2 are not easy to drive.. Does this amp really have enough power for the B&W's?

I recently bought the technics amp, it's a stellar performer. It's neutral, smooth and very natural sounding. I definitely blame the speakers for your experience.

Try it with Tannoy speakers... the sound is SUPERB.

A bit of a mixed feelings review. It has potential and the looks, however, a motorized tray on top would be a nice touch (and skip the phono stage).The speakers are interesting by their concentric design, sound and looks. Not sure if the speakers are new (just out of the box) or maybe treated roughly by other reviewers. They apparently are tuned for a 'showroom' sound, with tilted highs. Luckily there's lots of EQ posible, lol. I also imagine people buying this speakerset, without the amp, are in for a surprise re. the low sensitivity, because that's really low. This, together with the lacking finish would be a big 'nope' for me. For the price there are some really good (finished) alternatives. Thanks for your honest take on this one 👌

Showroom sound signature is probably the right description, yes, I had some mixed feelings about it, crazy that they offer a Room Acoustic calibration but only through iOS devices! Pretty disappointed that is not available for Android (would like to ask them, but is easier to contact Donald Trump than Panasonic!) Anyway, I will probably test them again with iOS and the Room calibration and let's see if they are still fatigued! Thx for comment✌🏾

I will comment about having a motorized cd door. It seems to me that after some time I've seen the motorized doors on cd players like to fail. I have a older Sony with a broken door. So I like the fact that this Technics has a manual door. I just ordered one.

@@sixwhip14 Lol, fair point. Funny that you mention that, because the only CD player that gave me issues with the loading tray was an older Sony. At that time a pricey one too. Sony CDP-337ESD 😄

Motorized trays break. I have a nice Sony Professional CD player that is broken because of a motorized tray. The SC-B600 design is better.

Ciao ,bel video per un marchio storico. Nel video ho visto che hai ifi phono,quanta differenza c'è con il goldnote?? Ho 2 giradischi e forse è per me la soluzione migliore ma vorrei migliore. Grazie

Perdonami,non voglio essere polemico,ma ho notato che quei pochi video che hai fatto in italiano hanno avuto molte più visualizzazioni che in inglese,e purtroppo io faccio parte di quelli che non conoscono l'inglese. Immagini che sia per una questione commerciale con i distributori,ma sarebbe possibile,come fa qualcuno doppiare in italiano o i sottotitoli? Te lo chiedo perché recensisci dei prodotti interessanti e sei molto bravo.

Capisco perfettamente il tuo punto di vista, hai provato con i sottotitoli automatici? Purtroppo la creazione dei sottotitoli è un lavoro manuale stressante che porta via ore di lavoro che nn ho! Fammi sapere se vanno quelli in automatico altrimenti vedo cosa posso fare..la scelta di passare all inglese ha portato si meno visualizzazioni ma molte più collaborazioni con distributori e produttori.Non residendo in Italia Purtroppo la cosa era diventata impossibile, purtroppo in Italiano su KZfaq di interessante oltre VinilicaMente cè molto poco, quindi ti capisco!!!
