If he would have been encased with bedrock and fundy has a bedrock block (even just the possibility) he wouldn't have went there by choice in the first place.

It is due to squid's minions being closed to each other that they sometimes plant where the other minion already planted. This reduces squid's output by upto 90%. Squid never realized this in the first part since it only works while someone is on the island (it is loaded). If not, the server would only calculate how much he should have gotten while offline. Thus, Techno sabotages Squid by Afking.
