Today I have a simulated game between the Raiders and Redskins in Tecmo Super Bowl for the Nintendo. Release Date: 1991
Arguably the best football game on the NES with a die hard fan base.
I thought this would be a good match up since the Redskins won the super bowl this year and I had heard rumors that Bo Jackson for the Raiders was a god in this game. I think there was some good action.
Sounds and presentation are well done. I love the little scenes when you kick a field goal, sack a QB or score a touchdown. There is some sprite flicker but that is to be expected of an NES game with this many characters on screen.
