CLIP DESCRIPTION:
A paranoid Liam Neeson asks Ted if Trix cereal is exclusively for kids.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
Ted (voice of Seth MacFarlane) ties the knot with Tami-Lynn (Jessica Barth), and recruits his best friend John (Mark Wahlberg) as a sperm donor in order to start a family in this sequel to the comedy hit about a teddy bear come to life. Later, when the Commonwealth of Massachusetts demands that Ted appear before a judge to prove he's a real person, the frisky bear and his pal vow to fight for their civil rights. Morgan Freeman and Amanda Seyfried co-star.

Great scene. Except Ted is a terrible cashier. 1. He didn’t scan the Trix, so unless he gets a box off the shelf to scan, the store’s inventory will be off. 2. He didn’t put the cash in his drawer, plus, I’ve never seen a Box of cereal that small cost $5, so he never gave the guy his change or a receipt 3. Because of this, this guy is walking out with a box of trix that wasn’t technically paid for, he has no proof of purchase, and he stuffed it in his jacket. All three of those are reasons he actually may be followed back to his apartment. 4. Trix are for Kids.

1. The scan thing isnt such a big deal. Most registers have a way to deal with that in case there is an issue.(like a damaged bar code) 2 .The change thing isnt an issue because if the customer walks away without their change then it is the cashier who can decide to announce it or not. It is typically accepted that the correct moral decision is to call attention to it but it isnt a hard rule in most cases. 3. As long as enough money was given, then walking away immediately after usually just ignored as slightly impolite behavior. 4. I actually dont have a counter to this. Trix ARE for kids.

Yeah, they kind of ruined the joke by having him actually get punished for buying the Trix, when it would've been so much better to have the payoff be him saving Ted later on.

Brilliant scene. Ted plays it so polite and straight with this freaking psychopath who just appeared out of nowhere. Great cameo.(and yes , Liam was followed)
