I think Richard Branson is one of the most entertaining leaders of today. Especially with his stories, the way he carries himself and with almost all of his businesses named "Virgin" haha...looks really down to earth and I would love to meet him.

I have to agree with an earlier poster - I bought Richard Branson's Quick Read book "Screw it - Let's do it", which took around 2 hours to read and this interviewer obviously hadn't researched his guest at all. I knew pretty much all the answers to the interviewer's questions :)

His list of companies is indicative of an ADHD mind, which is partly responsible for his huge success. I, like Sir Richard, am dyslexic and ADD and after struggling everyday during 30 years in the corporate world, reaching an officer level position, I'm striking off on my own to feed my very active head.

I was thinking the exact same thing. All education and no substance no doubt. Richard Branson tells him what works and he dismisses it, as if he knows better. Yes I would call that arrogant and I'm sure there are a couple of other words as well. Definitely obnoxious and a kill joy, and dream killer, the type of guy who likes to knock because deep down he is really jealous. He thinks he is incognito about it and is coming across as witty, but obviously he's not. Toxic people you want to stay away from if possible, but sometimes they are just there are you don't find out at the time. Some poor souls have to work for or under cads like this. This may sound a bit extreme but they are just another type of psychopath, who is really a petty person which sometimes gets in a position over others, and that turns them on. Creepy indeed, but a coward at heart.

Nice guy. needs to learn what taxes are though...
@kdanagger6894
@kdanagger6894 9 жыл бұрын
He knows what taxes are... Legalized theft by sociopaths with a whole lot of guns and hired thugs. He has reluctantly concluded (like many others) that certain evils can not be fought alone. The machine has grown too large and powerful. He has decided that he isn't going to let the mafia gov't get him down. He's going to try to live and enjoy his life as best he can despite them.
@JimmyTheKiller
@JimmyTheKiller 9 жыл бұрын
K Danagger Haha those are a lot of big words for a ridiculously stupid comment. We live in a democracy and the way the economy works relies on taxes. If you are seriously suggesting it's a good thing when people don't you are worryingly unintelligent.

JimmyTheKiller It was reported last year that Branson was giving half of his $4B of his net worth to charity. That's $2B. For the sake of a hypothetical, let's say your net worth is $10m. Would you be willing to give half of that away to worthy causes? Why don't I think you would, even if you could be assured of living out the rest of your life in idleness and luxury in Palm Springs or Monte Carlo? I'd rather have my money go to feeding the hungry and bringing medical care to those who never saw a doctor than federal spending on projects that cost more than the benefits they create, government intervention in the form of subsidies or regulations that cause individuals and businesses to reduce their productive efforts or to engage in unproductive activities, mis-targeted programs whose recipients should not be entitled to government benefits, spending on outdated, unnecessary, or duplicative programs; and inefficiency, mismanagement, and fraud. I think you need look at how 40% of your tax dollars are pissed away before you indict someone who thinks government has abused the power to tax mandated by representation.
