He is an ardent idealist to religion and conservative politics. Frank Underwood does whatever works, no matter what. Trump is a bit more similar because he advocates what he thinks is the most pragmatic thing (banning Muslims from entering, for example, though I don't think it's pragmatic in reality).

Alex One You'd have to fully understand a problem to come up with a pragmatic solution and I don't think Trump really understands anything. He just has a really big ego that can only be filled by becoming the President of the United States.
