I met uncle Ted working at a gas station in ‘80 or ‘81 just north of Lansing, Michigan. He pulled up in a lifted camouflaged Bronco. Was the coolest cat I had ever met. Nicest guy you’d ever meet. Gave me a $20 tip on a $36 bill.

If I am living in the past, so be it. 1950s-2000s was the era of the greatest music in history. Facts are facts. Some great music is still being made, but nothing like 1950s until 2000s. The R&R hall of fame has done an injustice not recognizing so many bands that contributed greatly to Rock and Roll.

I was about 14 . went into school the next day ears still ringing ,as i was standing next to one of the massive speakers he was rocking on. I swear to God he almost toppled them over ..... What a performer he was. during those years I used to go to all the concerts at the Empire in Liverpool, Skynyrd the year before the plane crash that took Ronnie Van. Also saw Camel ..Rainbow..Rush.. Sabbath..Lone Star..Pace Ashton Lord..Wishbone Ash..Tangerine Dream ..Gong....Jethro Tull..and many more. Bands then were just incredible ,,,,, Miss those days so much, Kev Woolton

Ted rocks! His former bass player (Johnny Sauter was in my band inthe 80's) I've seen him several times and I was able to spend some time with him after a show in 1988. (He played the concert with a 104 degree temp, jumping off of speakers and rocking the house!) Ted in intelligent, articulate, funny, and intense. I met him a few years later at an NRA meeting in St. Louis . He rememberd me and we ended up having dinner that evening. Shemane and my wife joined us. They're both very good people and they did a lot for the soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Hi Jay Good morning I hope my comment didn't sound like a form of privacy invasion your comment tells of a wonderful man with a beautiful heart which led me to comment I don't normally write in the comment section but I think you deserve this compliment. If you don’t mind can we be friends? Thanks God bless you….🌺🌺🌺
