Teddy Atlas breaks down Ryan Garcia's performance and comments on Mike Tyson's return to boxing!

Legendary trainer and broadcaster Teddy Atlas joins me to break down Ryan Garcia's unbelievable performance in his upset victory on Saturday over Devin Haney at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
The always opinionated Atlas gives his take on Garcia's performance before the fight, what he did during it and how his erratic behavior may have somehow helped him.
I also asked Atlas for his take on the performance of referee Harvey Dock, who has come in a lot of scrutiny, and he came back with a great and interesting answer.
Finally, I surprised Teddy by asking him for his opinion on Mike Tyson coming back to fight Jake Paul on July 20 in Arlington, Texas, in a bout streamed on Netflix. Atlas, naturally, had plenty to say.

Teddy Atlas will never admit he was wrong. Some fighters have trouble making the last few pounds, doesnt mean every fighter does. Haney made it, Ryan couldnt. Haney made the weight for previous championship fight without issue, so this logic of 3 pounds being a major factor is flawed. Ryan showed he could take away a "great" jab with his technique, speed & power. Give Ryan Garcia his props, & not make fun of him with clapping like a jack o latern. Be honest & not let your ego & emotion control your thoughts, Teddy may never learn this, at his age ,. Dont make this mistake folks !! God is King !!!

It’s kind of funny, did Haney not have a weight cut in his last fight at 140 pounds but that did not did not affect him for his fight but now according to Ted Atlas on this fight, totally absolutely ruined him. This is what happens when you watch a fight with bias in your heart. Teddy is saying that Ryan was the one holding? Everyone watching the fight knew that Devin held Ryan every time they got close. And he held Ryan every time he was rocked, and the ref let him grab. Did Ryan hold? Yes, but Ryan held primarily when Devin held him.

Teddy is about as much of an expert as you're going to get. He's just opinionated and always has been and stands on his opinions most the time. I loved him as a commentator because he always spoke up for boxers and always tried exposi g corruption during commentary. Isnt winning a fight really about mental games. It was all a sherade. Devin fell for it and got rocked. Ryan was so locked in he was listening to bethoven and church and had an aura when getting his hands wraped- that's when the haney team knew they were in for a long night.
