Did the same thing as a young teenager with my hair around that time. Tavares was my first eyeopener to Soul Music. When I was 16 I already had quite a record collection of Old School Soul. Never looked back.

I’ve been looking for this for a long time. I saw it when it originally came out. Went to see them live with the group Hot Chocolate and saw him live on his solo tour. He was not well known in England in the UK. He was just on the verge of superstardom when he had that horrific car crash that took all the power out of his voice. He was never the same singer after that.
