The greatest singer ever before that terrible car crash that destroyed his career in 1982. All the power had gone, he was never the same singer.

Here you are again. Even when his range was diminished, he was still a great singer. Beautiful voice, gorgeous presence. Those who so-called "sing" nowadays could never begin to compete with him, before or after the accident.

@@monilaninetynine3811 Here you are again? What’s that crap about? Teddy’s voice was DESTROYED in that crash his singing after that was terrible. It wasn’t his fault that it wasn’t the same, all the power was GONE, it was the car crash that did it. Compare his voice on the Black and Blue Album to his first LP after the crash there is a massive difference, he was never the same Teddy. FACTS!!!!!
