Roxy is like a deaf child born in an ableist village, with her parents learning "sign language" (talking) to comunicate with their daughter

I think only Roxy's parents and the village leader actually talk with their mouths, all the others don't actually talk. I think.

Well the reason the villagers can't/don't speak is that they have no reason to learn especially when they have the ability of telepathy. The other reason is that no villagers expect the village leader (meet him when Rudy visits Roxy's village in part 1) really leave the village due to how dangerous the demon continent is. The only reason the leader knows how to speak is to welcome and interact with outsiders. The only other people in the village who know how to speak are Roxy's parents as they wanted to communicate with their daughter. So the parents had to learn how to speak alongside their daughter. Of course the heart-breaking thing is that the parents blame themselves for Roxy's inability to use telepathy.

the parents learned the language with her and I'm pretty sure it's difficult to convey your feelings in a different language you just learned... and Roxy was a child so she didn't know that her parents can't tell her how they feel exactly.

The fact that rudy doesn't teach eris healing magic is cause even him doesn't know that much, and can't use incantationless it either

The parents of roxy don’t know the party name because they chose the party name after their encounter. It happened at the adventurer guild

For your information, healing spells were so difficult that very few people could use them, even for Rudeus, he had to spell them to do so. That's why Eris (not skilled in magic) can't do it

This series ends up being all about family, I think thats why I enjoyed it so much.

Totally agree with what you said about Roxy at the end. Even though she's clumsy at times (clapping the horse with lightning), she's really strong minded and independent. And she went out to check on the mana disaster almost immediately and set her goals to help her former apprentice's family by searching for missing family members. She's not just a queen, as Rudy says- She's a goddess. You now understand why Rudeus calls her undergarment; the Holy Relic.

Roxy left her village to find her master when she was in her early teens, around 13 or 14 years old. This is the first time she's come back since and she is 46, so that's over 30 years she's been away. They weren't a party yet when they visited the Migured village.

Its pretty hard to notice but Rudy cannot do incantationless healing magic. He has to spell the word out for using healing magic. A little note for latter on. :)

There is actually a spin off manga from the series called Roxy Gets Serious that is all about Roxy's life and how she ran away and started adventuring. It's quite enjoyable.

14:34 It is absolutely not a tiny little detail She lived her whole life in the village being 100% completely isolated from everyone but her parents. Being telepathically mute is utterly incomprehensible to the villagers. Everyone uses it - and only it - for communication. It's a lot like being deaf, but much worse. When someone is deaf and lives in a community that can't accommodate for that, they can still "talk" non-verbally. But with telepathy, people don't need any other form of communication to understand each other. They wouldn't even have signs like a thumbs up for yes. Not to mention that the villagers are also kind of assholes. Exactly because of them being socially isolated from the world, but they are pretty xenophobic. And they basically see Roxy as a different race for her inability. Growing up there meant that she had 0 friends in the village; and 0 people to talk to -other than family.

Mushoku Tensei all the way through is all about Family and Growth, from the time it spent 4 whole episodes at home to the very end of the series. Part of why I love it so much.

Yes, the Migurd all talk to each other like that. Roxy's parents had to learn how tro talk normally for the sake of their child. Also, if they say "once every 20 years" - that's like saying once a year for us.
