The theme for TEDxDubai 2010 is REBOOT. But what does it mean?
For the technology addicts, it is a way to prompt a fresh start. Sometimes there is nothing else one can do other than start again.
REBOOT is sometimes forced upon us, so we should celebrate and share the events that prompt a fresh start, the failures that inspire new ventures and the ideas worth spreading from that journey.
When we Reboot we embrace failure and celebrate it as an opportunity to Re-think, Re-start.
------------------------------------------------------------------
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x=independently organized TED event.
The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
Our event is call TEDxDubai, where x=independently organized TED event.

Jason Vales Plans really really work, its not just about getting thin quickly with him, his juicing and smoothies have helped me feel 10 years younger and healthy and full of energy, I will never be able to thank him except I will go to his juicing oasis in portugal and maybe turkey and I will also keep mentioning his high nutrition plans with everyone who asks me how I look so young

Hey Jason, just read your book about stopping drinking. Many thanks. I Hope to eventually come to one of your sessions in Portugal at some stage. Much love and respect, from Australia.

This just might be the most important TED talk ever made, a thought/discovery something that could revolutionize the human species. Yet only 15.000 views - it really says it all

+StillTrustNo1. Toxemia is the Main Cause of All Disease that manifest itself in acute symptoms when the body's toxemia tolerance level is surpassed.. When Toxemia level is reduced All Acute Symptoms Disappear. However is you use medication (a poison remedy) the "acute" disease transforms into "chronic" and incurable disease eventually... Any biologist will confirm this. The Body is self healing when you remove the cause of disease and reduce the Toxemia level The young Child has a low toxemia level, thus spectacular symptoms (ex:rash, fever, cough) The elderly have a High tolerance for toxins with lower level symptoms (ex: pain, weakness, depression). The adult is in the middle.

I totally agree with the main thesis behind your statement, but I also know its more complicated than that, As I've seen tons of people with chronic illnesses who didn't use any medication and also seen people die of their chronic illness even after years of fighting using 100% organic raw foods / juice / water fasts... all the works

Lola Lilly I have watched it. And it doesn't scientifically proof anything. I've actually watched every juicing, raw food, green smoothie, water faste... video out there. I've lived in this environment for quite a while and have "more than average" knowledge about the nutrition vs. chronic illness. But even places like: An Oasis of healing Hippocrates Gerson... The list goes on with places that once though of this subject being as simple as food vs. sickness, but now they all acknowledge that this is much more complicated than that. Things like exercise, mental health, placebo... it matters and in some individual cases even more than diet(no matter how extreme)

First hand I can tell you Jason walks his talk in his own life and what he teaches. And when someone does that with results you can’t take issue with it. I’ve personally lost weight and improved my health by incorporating juicing into my diet.

Excellent, and easy for anyone open to the obvious and willing to learn to comprehend. Toxicity and deficiency have been an ever escalating problem since the industrial revolution, and our human intervention with God made foods and the environment. The less we tamper with the original the better, unless in the case of restoration, regarding the environment. The illustration with the fish is very effective. God bless you Jason!

@deefee701

Adjust your sound button. Many other Ted Talks are the same. If it was really shouting I don't think that man sitting to the side would be idly scrolling through his phone; he would move away. From other Ted Talks I can see that this is just the acoustics of a big hall to accommodate the audience and the speaker has to manage the existing sound system.

I agree with Dee......plus Jason is very passionate about his work and does talk loudly. If you’re going to juice the world you need to be like this to encourage and persuade......a quiet guy in the corner wouldn’t achieve anything with this message.
