Totally radical man! Sounds super 90s. I almost thought it was Dexter Holland from Offspring but no whooa in it. Let me put my Reebok's on with my Geiko T shirt and jeans. I think you mean pulling out all the stops. Its a reference to the "stops" used on a pipe organ. The more stops you pull the more sound you get. So when you "pull out all the stops" you are literally giving the organ all the sound it can possibly make.
