As an autistic man, I came so close to losing my virginity in high school. No matter what I tried, every girl I like would always say that I never measured to their social level. When I got asked out by a girl with down syndrome, I was very hesitant because she looked like my former stepmother. The more time I spent with her, the more I started to like her. I find out she had another boyfriend but it didn't stop me from liking her. One day I called her house and her mother answered. Her parents did not approve of her dating and that left me heartbroken. Her parents get our teachers involved in our personal lives. This was the first time I actually turned on a teacher. When I fought her other boyfriend over her. Our teacher asked us about this awkward situation and told us that she would ask who she wants. Unfortunately, the girl decided she didn't want a boyfriend. That broke my even more and not even my favorite comic book store could cheer me up but I didn't want my family to know about it. So I come back home just to role myself in dirty laundry regardless of my mysophobia. Now I'm scarred for life because of this situation.

@mainelady2020 unfortunately that one incident worsened my behavioral problems, and "confidence" never did me any good. The only way I can get a girlfriend is luck. But I do feel relieved that one of my high school crushes still has a crush on me.
