the problem with these kind of videos is that they’re unrealistic. the dad teaching his daughter financial responsibility is honestly understandable and reasonable. we shouldn’t encourage young individuals to always rely on a social media platform for their future. yes, it’s great to follow your passion, but it shouldn’t go as far as getting distracted ON THE JOB. when it comes to young individuals, they shouldn’t make such financially risky decisions. for example, as a young individual myself, i have a passion for video editing and i hope that it becomes my career path in the future, but i don’t completely rely on social media cuz failure is always possible. that’s why i make sure my grade averages are at least a 90%, which is what townsend harris, the school i want to go to, expects from students. see how i’m actually being realistic with my future? the kids who want to become youtubers, or tiktokers in these videos apparently ALWAYS become successful, which is honestly a joke and extremely unrealistic. like- who actually watches product reviewers nowadays? 🤣 anyways, good for you if you actually read this far TvT 👍🏻 i just realized i wrote a whole paragraph- 🗿

Actually, the dad isn’t completely wrong, I mean you should encourage your children but, he says facts. You cannot depend on social media and I think dhar is delivering the wrong message. You must do something that you’re passionate about but sometimes, it’s better to do something that can actually, financially help you( especially if you’re passion is watching tik tok, no wonders why she didn’t got accepted when she showed her passion)

That’s actually what a lot of people have to do. Take someone like Rslash here on KZfaq for instance. He said in one of his videos that before he was popular enough to make KZfaq a full time job that he had a normal 9-5 job while he worked on getting good at KZfaq. I know you shouldn’t always trust someone’s word alone but considering what he said is a common thing people have to do before making it big, I think it’s safe to say he’s telling the truth.

The Dad wasn’t being too hard on her. Tik Tok can be a waste of time and soon ,before you know it ,you end up doing a job by the last minute. For example you were trusted to be home alone and your parents set tasks on you while they were gone. You were meant to do the dishes, but got distracted by social media. As you get pulled into the void of that, you wasted so much time being on there when you could have been doing the chores you were supposed to do. When your parents arrive home , they would become disappointed because you didn’t do the chores- and that was because you got pulled into the void of social media all that time you were supposed to be doing them. Social media can be very distracting and time killing but we shouldn’t let it rule over our life’s like this. In fact we shouldn’t let our mobile phone rule over our life too. Because of our mobile phone, humanity has become messed up. Especially kids born today.
