15-year-old Ricki Rae Guess was determined to get her nails done for high school homecoming despite a sharp, painful headache. The Guess family could not imagine how quickly their lives would change that day when an emergency trip took a turn for the worse. With the help of staff at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital the Guess family found peace and strength during the most difficult time of their lives.

Wow! What an incredible journey. So happy your family has this beautiful young girl back in the fold. She is a treasure, and you are blessed by God. Thank you for sharing her story. Makes me so proud to soon have both daughters degreed and then certified RN's.
