@@SilencedByKZfaq I agree, Trystin isn't getting another chance, why should he? I am a liberal and as far Left as possible, but am of the opinion that people must pay for their crimes fully. Aiden should never get out if prison. He has forfeited that privilege and chosen this new life behind bars.

@@SilencedByKZfaq I think because they imagined themselves in his shoes, and wanted to get another chance when they commit a horrible crime, even if this guy repents and regrets what he has done, it won't bring back the poor victim to life, and he will never ever add any positive impact on the society, he won't invent the wheel, won't get Nobel prize, the only good thing the society can hope for, if released oneday, is not to kill anybody again, why to put the society under his mercy again?!!!! Before I left home at 13 years old, I had a recurring dream of stabbing my mother, she was an insane, literally ,abusive woman with absolutely no care, that’s why I left, no way I would’ve done it, and then repeat doing it 114 times, I’ve never been in that kind of rage, and I’m speaking of my 13-year-old self, it’s sad on all levels🥲…..✌🏻

Is he mentally stable?? He's on 3 heavy drugs. Lithium being one of them. He's only 16. He could be paroled in as little as 25 years. So let's say he does get paroled- when he gets out will the penal system have addressed and treated him for whatever mental issues he has?? If they don't then they will be letting him free without any mental health treatment and he could possibly do this again. I know that's a possibility anyway. I also get it that no one "in their right mind" would stab someone 114 times. So they gotta be somewhat evil or crazy to begin with. But if this kid has had mental illness for a while now- shouldn't he get evaluated first???

He has been insulated from reality throughout his entire childhood, and has had to compete for mom's attention with day care clients. @@Lfm2113 it’s not up to the judge bc it gets reviewed by someone else because of his age in 25 years that can release him. Has nothing to do with his judge. He can be out in his 30s or 40s and that’s just too early. He has to give him the option of parole because he’s a juvenile and the supreme court said it’s unconstitutional to give them life without parole. In 25 years he can be released and that’s just the reality of it unfortunately. He deserves life without ever being free.
