Teen Narrowly Escapes Life Sentence - A Look Back at Adam's Time In Prison & How He Is Today

In this video we look back at the story of teenager Adam during his first day inside a maximum-security adult prison. Adam had been arrested and sentenced to prison for attempted murder, burglary and battery with serious bodily injury. Sentenced to years behind bars, Adam told us he was actually lucky he avoided a life sentence, something the prosecutor in his case had originally recommended. During this video, we see Adam in his cell with his new cellmate, talk to both teens about life in adult prison as a teenager, and ultimately, find out where Adam is today 11 years after we first met him.

Would be so cool, to actually see them again on camera after all these years. Wether on the outside, or on a video visit or whatever. There must be a way right. Cause then it really would be full circle and they could talk about their experience and so on.

He didnt feel guilty for what he did as a juvenile. That told me what his future would be.

Too bad. Recidivism is such a huge problem in this country and at the end of the day results in so many missed opportunities for so many people.

How do he keep getting these serious charges only received 5 years. Maybe in 2026 he will have learned a lesson

Some people are hard wired for criminality. And, looks like he is one, sadly. As soon as he is released, he'll be back. So, keep him in. Keep people safe. He is charming and knows what to say. But, actions speak louder than words.

They have no idea what they’re getting into when they go to adult prison they don’t have a size they used to using guns. It’s a lot different They’re so young they are doing with a whole different caliber of people and inmates. I wish them the best.
