I absolutely love that the turtles are voiced by actual teens

With the announced show, I could see them doing a thing where each episode is focused on a different villain mutant from this film, fully fleshing out the origin form their perspective, and giving them one on one time with the turtles

I loved it! At time it got a little too childish for me, but I can’t wait to see how they grow these characters up in future projects

This might be my one of my favorite iterations of TMNT the animation and story was great I was not expecting Seth Rogen to kill it with this movie

As a longtime turtle fan, I was worried about the lore changes for this movie (I had heard about them before seeing the movie) but even though the movie isn’t the most comic accurate, I was pleasantly surprised at how well they handled the changes they made. However, it’s clear that others do not agree with me, as the origin changes seem to be one of the main gripes long time turtle fans have with this movie. Now I’m interested to see how Rogen, Rowe, etc. handle the next movie and show with these changes to the story.

I can completely understand why some people think this isn’t that great, and that’s alright, but I personally just really enjoyed this film and I can attest that (from my experience) this is what teens (even younger kids in general) are like I just saw the movie and it was amazing! I give it a 9/10. It was a little hard to see what was going on in that 3rd act cuz of the animation but overall it was good. The action was good. The humor was a hit or miss. The moral of the story is what’s good too. Every kid should watch this and see that no matter how different you are you will never be alone. I’m going to watch it again but this time in 3D! I saw it at the early screening, I enjoyed the film and all the references to other cartoon films they included but I think that they could have included more action in the film especially in the fight against Superfly but the mid-credits scene does have me excited for the sequel. Hopefully, the Paramount+ series will be good. I heard that this movie is setting up a series that's gonna be on paramount+ Hats off to 3Cfilms for the content he always finds for us, excited for this one for sure, been a fan of Heroes in a Half Shell since a kid I always thought how living in the sewers must suck, and I'm glad this movie went into that, especially with Splinter being an overprotective dad. Never thought I’d see a TMNT movie get a 3C Guarantee in my life

As someone starting middle school later this month, I'm excited to see a version of the turtles I can finally relate to!

I really hated the fact that they made Rafael so different, Raf is suppose to be a hot headed jock, who butts with Leo, but in this movie he was out of shape and goofy, I really hope the Raf and Leo butting heads dynamic comes back into play

Other than the use of villains in the film, my biggest questions were in regards to the ninjitsu (learning and use) along with the ending. While those points could’ve been gripes for me, I just had to keep remembering that every iteration of the Turtles are intentionally different, and I’m glad to have each of them. 🙂

It's funny you should mention the movie leaving things open for the other mutants because not ONLY is there a sequel coming. But Paramount is going to be releasing a new animated series based around this iteration of the TMNT. On top of that, Nick plans on airing ALL of the episodes of the classic 80s series soon

I loved the movie, saw it in dolby which really helped with the soundtrack. The thing i liked the most was the colors used, it felt alive and kept your eyes paying attention.

It’s crazy how times goes by so fast. So many comments saying they grew up with the 2012 version, that’s just ten years ago 😂 I love the first 2 90s films so much and the 80s cartoon it makes it hard to get into these new ones. It’s still good but ten years from now I’ll still just remember the 90s version. There was something different in the early 90s, movies had a vibe. Tim burton Batman, tmnt, they just got the vibe and music right. Everything today is better and flashy but lacks that vibe. It’s hard to explain

If I bring up Into the Spiderverse with regards to the animation, it’ll be that they’re both out of the box products of this new 3D-animation renaissance that Spiderverse arguably kicked off. However, if I’m comparing the animation to something else, I’d have to go with the Mitchells vs the Machines and Arcane.

Not related to the content but, I like how 3C films doesn't add music to his videos. It's like he knows that I have my own music going on and that I don't want to pause it so instead of him putting music for it to disrupt with mine, he just adds no music. basically using the music that I'm listening to as background music.

I think Baxter Stockman was supposed to be Superfly, but there may have been some rights issues because of similarities to The Fly. Everyone wanna sue these days. It was a good work around.
