You barely meet anyone new anymore once you are outside of school. Except if you actively try to meet people through apps or something I guess. But if you didn't fix your social awkwardness as a teen then it's extremely difficult to do stuff like that. In school you think everything will be better once you become an adult but actually things just continue to suck. Now you just work and try to pay off your bills lol

it's true! They don't stop. We seem to think of phases as very temporary and unimportant things. "Oh so that wasn't really me and didn't matter" but phases are just different parts of our lives. They're all equally important because that's what we were feeling and expressing at that point in our lives. It's like laughing at 5 year old me for loving barbie dolls when I don't have them anymore. Doesn't matter, loved em then. Do what makes you happy now, and if it changes later it doesn't change who you were or are

Lol that doesn't really stop. I'm thirty and me and everyone I know keeps feeling like time is just flying right by and we're like wtf. On the one hand it's good cause it means your life must be pretty good and you're enjoying it right. So just enjoy and if you want, you can try to slow life down a bit with mindfulness... 🤗

I think that trying to recover just to get revenge is an unhealthy way of coping. Unless he's an obsessive maniac, I doubt he'd care about it, so it would be pretty meaningless. Plus, even if he did care, that would just be momentary satisfaction, and you wouldn't benefit at all from that. On the contrary, you'd waste your time trying to make him care. Do whatever you do for yourself, not for some random guy

It's strange to say but don't take that phase for granted. During that phase of life it's an increased amount of energy due to the amount of testosterone that is being pumped through your blood. So anything that you want to get done at this time of your life do it and you won't have any regrets. Once the acne phase goes away fatigue tends to set in and then you'll have less energy and you'll feel older. It's the worst part about getting old but no one really talks about.
