That is one way to downplay the mighty ff1+2, one of the moves that made him busted. It's another crazy gift from Wang, it hits grounded for huge damage and it's guaranteed after some unblockables and launchers. FCdf2 (unseeable low) into ff1+2 does 65-75. FCf1 into ff1+2 does around 70. Also, since you NEVER want to techroll Ogre, you can see how scary that move was. Another thing, in T3 his 1,1,2 and 1,2,2 are nc, they were made ncc in TTT2. Bonus: 3-hit hunting hawks were completely broken in this game, if they block your uf3,4 but you input uf3,4,3, the move becomes plus a ton and they can't block for a while. Ogre gets standing 4 (45 damage) or even hopkick into whatever. Bonus2: he had a cool but kinda useless just frame parry done with b1+2, tight window but super badass animation. Bonus3: all his quotes are actually in japanese but spoken backwards.

So nostalgic, i'm like 10 years old again . Music in this game is so great.

IMPORTANT: Ogres and Hwoarang have u/f+3, :4, 3. The just time 4 can be used if the initial kick was blocked, making it impossible to block the last hit. Aside from this detail, you are doing an awesome job with these T3 videos. I actually didn't know Law's 3, 4 was a natural combo, so l am learning too. :)

Ogre was one of my favorite characters cause I played the shit out of Tekken 2 and for him to have some of the moves from characters in Tekken 2 rolled up into one was like a dream come true for me

His uf3,4,3 had a just frame in it (T.Ogre, Hwoarang and Heihachi had it too), if you did uf3:4, the 4 would be unblockable

Can't wait to see Heihachi, I remember that his u/f 34 was so powerful on block that the second kick always connects, or his hellish hell sweep that does damage on block and doesn't stagger him if blocked 😁

One thing you can do afrer f,f+2 if they don't escape is d+1 into FC d+3,3,N 3 (hope i wrote it wright). That does around 67-69 damage on it's own and i think it's guaranteed in all characters. Great video, by the way. Have been waiting a long time for this one.

You know, it's revisiting videos like this that actually make me think of what ifs: As in, what if Ogre actually successfully killed all the fighters he took his moves from (barring, of course, Jack-2, who was offline, and became Gun Jack, Kazuya, who had been resurrected by G-Corp, and was laying low, and Kuma, who got old and died)? I mean, I'm glad Wang, Jun, Anna, Bruce, Lee, Kunimitsu (mentioned to be alive, and had a daughter - her successor, if you will), and Baek came back, but imagine what a ballsy move that would've been. That also reminds me, that maybe if Ogre returns in an upcoming Tekken game (not necessarily 8), they might do a "canon" moveset overhaul, or something. What I mean is, the only people he's officially confirmed to have killed are the Tekken Force Unit that found him in the Mexican ruins, and King (I).

First Tekken I played was Tekken 3 when i was a kid and after all this years for many Tekken games of many generations of video games Ogre still is my favorite character of all the series and i call him my mighty ogre His move i called it "Touch of Death" before saw this video

Most broken shit about ogre in this game is waning moon and medium power(or god) punch at 11:57. Hits grounded and insane damage. Can end games in such short times. Your opponent must roll immediately after they hit ground. Also you cant escape it after dome throws and anna's low swing

The while standing 2 is unbreakable. I agree ogre was broken but the bane of everyone's existence in tekken 3 was yoshi with his lightning fast df+3 and super cheeky high and sometimes mid evading b+1+2 and his side steps kinda destroyed ogre

You forget f,f,n+2 Best move And basic combos f,f,n+3+4

In T3 there was 4 Asuka - Anna, Nina, Jin and Paul. Ogre doesn't have high and mid moves that can't be countered by these characters except electric stance and his shoulder hit can be reversed by Anna. Reverse window of these 4 characters was pretty large so Ogre has to buffer chicken into all his moves or he kills himself. And Ogre can't use kicks against King because his leg reverse had also insane window and can't be chickened. T3 also introduced Xiaoyu, Doctor B and Eddie so Ogre had not a very good time to fight them too. It wasn't surprise he was killed in T3.
