That the 10 combo

I usually do 10 hit combos just for fun or if my opponents do it first. I see it as a fun little challange 🙂 The animations in Alisa’s 10 hit combos looks awesome though

@@SC0RPI0NFURY why dont you do it more as a pressure thing? Can high level opponents counter it easily coz the frames are bad?

Leon Fresh The first 4 inputs of the 10 hit combo is a great ‘’tool’’ to use from time to time when the opponents are cornered or have little life left, if you do the whole combo and the opponents know about this combo they will just duck the 4th-5th input and do a ws launch

Can you tell us the inputs of the combo I dont think its the default 10 hit

Kathryn xo Thank you. In some cases when i do bf2 the opponents will sidestep and i end up in back turned position and then you can do the BT 3+4 combo or ‘’escape’’ by doing 3+4, 1+2. There are some risk/reward involved here, allmost like a 50/50 setup because it’s hard to know if the opponent falls for BT 3+4 so you really have to evaluate the situation each time this happens and either go all-in with the BT 3+4 combo or escape by following up with 1+2. sometimes you can get lucky and the opponents will (fff) run right under your BT3+4 summersault and you will end up hitting them in the back with the follow up 1+2 and get a nice combo out of it ;) Hope this helps

Dav That’s awesome to hear man. She is a very solid character with lots of moves and options, i never get bored of playing her and even today after maining her since Tekken 6 i still learn new techniques, combos, setups etc.. I would give her a shot 👍🏻 Thanks for comment and your view

miguel masangkay Thanks man. Alisa’s 1+2 is neutral on block so i’m never afraid to use that move, it happens from time to time that i get cought in the air but most of the time when i time it well it either ends up in neutral or i get a good chunk of dmg points out of the opponents

Appreciate it man and thanks for the sub. You exit DES with 1+2 immediately after the UF+1+2 input like in the link you provided. You enter DES with charge by pressing/holding in the 3+4 buttons while spamming 1+2 To charge without the chainsaws it’s the opposite, by holding down 1+2 while spamming 3+4

Syafiq Mahdi No, not in every DES combo, string/input you can insta-retract your chainsaws like that but in some you can, for instance DES f+3+4~2 you can retract right after 2 or DES f+3+4~2,1 you can retract after 1. There are way more combos and moves going into DES mode than out of DES mode

Thanks, i love that combo, looks awesome, it's her 10 hit combo. Idk if you know this but every characters in Tekken has a 10 hit combo or even several 10 hit combos but they are usually not something you should use at competetive level as they are usually extremly risky, if my opponent had ducked that 3rd-4th hit he could launch me and take away half my lifebar but i use this combo just for fun sometimes, if you notice he tried to do a 10 hit combo on me just prior to my 10 hit combo and that's why i did it as a challenge sort of :)

It’s all about practicing and memorizing the different combos from the various launchers. After a while you will do them on autopilot if you put enough time into it. It’s not as hard as it looks like tbh, if you need any help you can allways ask me here in one of the comment sections. The hardest part about Tekken for me is the defensive gameplay when it comes to memorizing/recognizing all the thousands of different moves against all the characters in Tekken and to actually do the ‘’correct’’ punisher to max out the damage points

@@daigest3507 I had a good read on him and had a idea he would not know how to block the 10 hit :) I have seen top tekken players use the 10 hit in a winners Final match in a major tournament, i think it was Book who did it in a TWT Final and landed the whole 10 hit combo. They can be tricky sometimes if they come out of nowhere and you are not prepared

Tyra#2615 Np. I usually use f,f 1+2 combo ender when they bounce close to the wall and i usually try to go for the 1,2, f+1+2 combo ender at wallsplat to get those extra dmg points 👍🏻

Obliviate I have never played her, most characters in Tekken 7 i have never played or even tested out. Josie seems like an interesting character for sure, and she would probably fit my playstyle, maybe i will try her out one day

As LagMaster said, you can allways do that combo on hit, mostly when they crouch or you crush their lows. The most optimal combo after DES UF1+2 is from ws 1,2,3 combo, takes some time to get the timing right, safest combo is d+4,1+2

André Yup, i’m using it pretty much exclusivly after db+1,3 as that is the most consistant combo, if you are really ‘’in the zone’’ though, the best combo from db+1,3 is while running into ws123 Edit: Btw let me know if you find any other good use of running d+4? maybe mix up to ceartain extent with while running 2 and while running 3,4? Then this wont be such 50/50 heavy mixup

SHOT ‘EM UP FIGHT ‘EM DOWN nothing really, d4 is connected to 1+2. You can only do 3,4 or 2, tackle, or run them over. If only we can dual boot after db1,3... that'll be awesome.

André From my experience i think that d+4~1+2 is one of the least useful moves Alisa has unless it’s in a combo. In neutral, people allways duck 1+2 and whiff punish me so i have stopped using it for the most part. I use d+4 from time to time though as a poking tool even though it might be risky as it is launch punishable on block but most people stay in crouch if they block it anyways in the wait for 1+2 so i’m not afraid of using d+4 occasionally. When it comes to mixups in (while running) i use all the approaches you mentioned + while running 4 (slide tackle) which on hit you can quick roll against the opponents again and create a 50/50 situation, very useful when the opponents has little life left. I have been experimenting with (while running f+4 if the opponents start sidestepping (while running mixups) it’s a great tool to counter sidestepping in this particular mix up 👍🏻

Asterisk Takes some practice to really nail down that sidestepping. I have noticed though that sidewalking is really good in this game compared to the previous tekken games, especially SW on wakeups if the opponents are pressuring you on wakeups.

Asterisk Nice, you should practice to quickroll to the side then straight into sidewalk and then when you are on the opponents side or back do UF+4,4~B,2,4~F,F (forward buffer) F+4,1,4 as whiff punisher, i use it quite often

Asterisk I’m doing a lot of d+3 from grounded position as well, i’m mixing up with all kinds of different stuff on wakeups, you can see it here at 3:25 alltough that sidecombo i was going for in that timestamp is not consistant against the smaller characters, but that is the combo that is most optimal as sidestep/sidewalk-combo vs the medium-bigger characters. The safest and one of the best side-combos are the notations above which are the ones i usually use, i was just testing out the ‘’Big Boy’’ combo on Zafina in that match to see if it worked against her which it didn’t because her hitbox is too small

I agree, Leroy is not that good to use chainsaws against but if you delay it a bit at those up-close situations just like you normally would to not get countered, it works much better

Lag Master I had some matches laying around on my HDD so i just compiled them into one vid with the coolest matches. That Leroy match was a couple days before the update, i beat that guy in the next match right after the one i recorded but i like to show some matches when i lose as well and the music in that match is frickin amazing. Tekken 4 had some seriously chill soundtracks :)

ody deukaleionas It’s hard to give any concrete tips on how you can psss the Ruler ranks without see how you play, if you upload 4-5 matches to your channel i can give you much more spesific tips. Usually when you stagnate at a rank it’s something fundamental you must work on or get rid of bad habits in your gameplay. If you upload some matches, give me a shout here in this thread and i’ll help you out bro
