BF 12 DF 1, is now counter launcher if the second hit connects the counter, so u can launch confirm, Maybe now u know it, but it's not add in ur videos , so I thought of sharing it.

Yeah, these changes might really hinder my passion for the game :/ Other characters like Paul and Kazia are getting game breaking buffs and Jins getting nerfed and an almost useless extension. They forgot what the fuck Jin is supposed to be. They started to ruin him in season 3 and they pretty much finished him off in season 4. Granted he was kinda busted in season 2, but I’d take S1 Jin over this any day of the week.

@@SShaBazzz No he isn’t. The have nerfed literally all of his good lows, and almost every counter hit the guy has. They have robbed him of his main pressure tools, some of his best pokes, and now even his combo damage which wasn’t the highest to begin with. Did you not see what happened in season 3 and just see this? These changes on Season 2 Jin would be fine, but on season 3’s already nerfed Jin? This is ridiculous AND they pretty much changed the entire play style of the character, so anyone who has played Jin since Tekken 4 or 5 and has grown accustomed to his aggressive poking, short string play style has to adjust to this mess of a character. I knew they were gonna fuck him as soon as he got Zen 1 -> 3.

The moment he said ff4 is 0 on block my heart dropped... Back then it was ff3 plus frame that was taken away.. now both of his axe kick lost its plus frames

That FF4 nerf I feel like is over the line, seems completely unnecessary to take that away from him, now all he has left for plus on block moves outside of EWHF are f[3~3] and ZEN 1+2, which are impractical.

I think its better to pick heihachi which has recieved some great buffs now. jin was already pretty hard to make it work in s3 now i guess its complete bonkers what they want with him now. His game is below average in comparison to rest of the cast

Great vid! bf+2,1,df+2 launches if second hit is ch unless there's practice mode glitch. Also it's super delayable. I'm not sure if it crushes highs but possibly.

Ff4 isn’t entirely useless due to it being his main tool to hit grounded opponents besides d4 but to see that it’s 0 on block now really sucks, his pressure game is definitely going to change a solid amount moving forward for me at least. Thanks for covering this bro!

Yeah why did they nerf d4 and especially ff4? It's already slower than mishima f4 and it's ff which makes it slower. I really don't understand this change. If it went from +4 to +2 i would've been okay. Now i'll just never use ff4.

@@evilDevilJin101 I can understand the nerf for magic 4. It's a 13 frame homing moves that ch launches and it did too much damage in s3 if i'm being honest. I would've just liked if the combo for it was more consistant. All the other nerfs were unnecessary though.

@@ARN_Chronome I’m sorry but you must be bad at tekken if you think he’s OP. He is one of the hardest characters in the game to succeed with. You just need to learn the matchup. Everyone has a hopkick, that’s not a valid explanation. FF2 and B21 makes you lose your turn if they block. Most of the roster has good whiff punish tools, and you forget he has an electric, an execution move. Your argument is trash and invalid.

It already was pretty hard work to get something out of Jin and I think Season 3 Jin was just right, not busted or anything. But now, considering the huge wall cary and oki tools most characters have I think that Jin just can't compare to Fakhumram, Lerroy, Julia, Akuma etc. I really wonder in which direction they are going with Jin.

Jin's df1,[4,4] mid is now -12 on block. It used to be -14 on block. Was it always -12 or not. Could of sworn it wasn't.

The ff4 nerf doesn't really bother me all that much tbh considering how seldom I use that move. Why the hell did they have to change CH4 like this though? Seems pretty difficult to even get 50 off of a CH4 tbh. The new string is basically a shittier version of Jin's T4 laser scraper that can't be charged and isn't a natural string either. Seems like it may have some use as an alternate wall ender but Jin already has enough of those. I believe that the Hook Fist will only connect from CH4 after a slight delay. I've tried it myself and I've been able to get it consistently by doing the Hook Fist with a slight delay.

Not to sound like an asshole or anything, but are you really a jin main not utilizing ff4? Literally one of his best tools for building pressure that can't be ducked. How do you not use that move, I mean now it's too late to even implement it into your gameplan as it is trash, but still, I would like to know your reasoning behind not using it. Thanks.

I just doubled checked and yes, it's possible but not consistent. The fact that it pushes them further away than electric makes it more difficult.

This was a season 3 change if I'm not mistaken. Raw f4 is difficult to combo off of. They want you to commit more to f4zen, which would require you to learn to do a perfect cancel to not get punished.

Best buff is the bf2 3 connector imo. That move drove me crazy with many dropped combos and I just found out why in this video smh 🤦‍♂️ . Worst is arguable... but probably the magic 4 if it’s going to be inconsistent for no reason 😒

Now i'll never have that satisfying feel when hitting CH4. And WTF FF4?!! It's just basically a useless version of ff3 now so why use it? For grounded better just use d2 or d4. F*ck this update. Gave him a useless slowass punishable launcher with the same wall damage as he currently have. Then just basically removing a move (yeah no one will use ff4 anymore).

Same here. My first Jin was T5, then I played him for every other game since. I was happy with season 1 Jin, but as soon as we got the top tier season 2 Jin I knew they were gonna nerf him in a stupid way instead of just nerfing what was busted. And once he got zen 1->3? I knew they were gonna ruin him completely. Prophecy fulfilled

It was already a launcher before, but since it didn't screw immediately you could get a few hits before the s! and then more hits afterwards. This cuts his combo damage by a lot, and makes the combo look uglier.

I honestly never understand why Namco hates Jin so much he’s so much harder to play than compared to characters who get crazy strings and low execution and get crazy combo follow ups Jin doesn’t have any of that just to hit a F4 follow up I need to do a CDS cancel run and then pray I hit the CH4 his meant to be a poking character but they take away his only plus frames to apply pressure and mix it up as EWHF is high I honestly don’t understand how they think it’s fair when there is characters that can kill you by hitting a move twice fuck Bandai Namco

I have very rarely been so disgusted in my life. This is what happens when game developers pay too much attention to the community, aka the bunch of crybabies typing angrily on their keyboards. First ff3 and f4 nerfs, I was like okay whatever, hurts but I can live with it. Then standing 4 and ff4 ? Like, really ? REALLY ? ff4 especially is a huge, huge loss. It's slow as hell and steppable, ffs...

They have nerfed all of jin's "4" moves.Db4,F4,FF4,Standing 4 and now D4 what the actual fuck is going on.They probably just want us to cough up money for dlc characters

Its hard to take nerfs on your main weather they are fair or not, I get it. But jin has been extremely good for a long time and this doesn't change that. These few things aren't going to kill character hes still very strong with great tools.

I don't think 4 is a nerf. I think its a huge buff. Its now probably the only fastest standing normal hit launcher in the entire game.

no more ff4 a big huge nerf!! can't pressure with jin in the walls with good frame advantage sucks!! IT IS SLOW move ff4 than other mishimas then take another nerf? wow really? i only use it on walls because it is too slow

Jin mains crying because some nerfs all the way up there in the S/S- tier, meanwhile I'm down here playing Lars and Leo, and only got new combos for Lars and absolutely nothing at all for Leo...a snake edge that doesn't launch, if anything she's even worse this season because more hp and reduced scaling on wall combos. Hard to sympathize with you guys.

Jin is one of my mains, and I have to say I agree. They had to do SOMETHING to balance him a bit, pretty much every move of his had good properties. To me, it looks like they're trying to emphasise his poking game a bit more over his CH game by buffing 2,1,4 and d/b+4 and nerfing standing 4 this season and f+4 last season. Tbh, I don't know why standing 4 was made into a launcher in season 2, I think the current one is a good compromise (though i'll miss the satisfaction of crumple stun)

Better for okizeme. Next, bf23 is realy nice buff, je stop Lost 10 damage agains't heavy character And next ch4 b3f1 > wave dash 2 And jin is realy better agains't fuzzyguard with more frame when hit with a mid and New moove.
