Tekken 8 really blew me away with its first chapter, felt like a final fight between Jin and Kazuya. But it was just the beginning of what's to come. Won't give out spoilers to those who haven't played or finished the story campaign, but all I can say is that the final chapter was just pure bliss of awesomeness

I like how the devs took every criticism in the other stories and actually did something with it

With every piece of info about T8 it was looking better and better and it was just hard not to be hyped. They absolutely KILLED it! They had more budget and they used it and they used it freaking well. With new training tools and arcade mode tutorial I hope tekken grows bigger than ever!

I remember seeing tekken tag back in 2000 on a imported PS2 from Japan in our local game shop in the UK and I was blown away by the graphics, Tekken has come a long way!

You know what I love most of this game you don't have to grind to get original character outfits. No microtranactions to get outfits to customize character. They fighting mechanics is easy to learn. They added great single player content.

Seeing this makes me understand the hype around it. Definitely gonna try it tn

I wasn’t a Tekken fan before 8 but I will say it has potential to be my favorite fighting game. It’s so sick to get your timing down on your combos, and rounds can end in like 10 seconds if you know your shit. Tekken ball also slaps so hard with the homies. I don’t really care about the story in fighting games so I can’t speak to that, but it has everything else I could want in a fighting game, and cross play means this game will live for a long time.

I think you should have to select special style at the beggining of the match with the ability to turn it on and off between matches on the ready up win screen. It feels cheap to get adjusted to someone’s play style just for them to swap to special as soon as you adapt mid match to try and get a free easy pop of damage.

LOL, I remember playing Tekken 1 at the arcade. Everyone was huddled around the game, jaws dropped in awe. I'm definitely getting this.

I am 100% blown away by this game. This is the best Tekken game that I have played since Tekken 2 when I got my PlayStation when I started college in 1996. I was a fighting game fan from the time I played Street Fighter 2 Championship Edition when I was 14 or 15 in the early '90s until I fell in love with RPGs like Skyrim and Oblivion but Tekken has been such a huge letdown lately. I didn't like Tekken 6 or 7. The game play was not fun and the visuals were ugly as hell. I didn't expect much when I bought this last night but boy was I wrong. I have Street Fighter 6 and Mortal Kombat 1. I have Mortal Kombat 11. I had Street Fighter 5 and most of the other Street Fighter games. I had most of the SoulCalibur games and most of the Dead or Alive games, but I have to say this is one of the top five fighting games that I've ever played. Street Fighter and soul Calibur are still my favorite two fighting franchises but this reminds me of why I fell in love with Tekken in 1996 and why it was my favorite fighting franchise for a few years until I played SoulCalibur on my Sega Dreamcast.

I'm about to buy the Tekken 8 today after work or tomorrow, but I always get the physical cuz I feel more comfortable that way versus the digital.

See the the thing with tekken 8 you can honestly see where the money from tekken 7 went they had tekken 7 have dlc and then pretty much dumped the money into tekken 8 its soo refreshing to see, every part of this game is an improvement from T7. Honestly I haven't seen this happen before in a decade. Love love love this game

I like the fact that the first bunch of people Charles fought in the online part were all PC players and only had a few people on console playing against him I think they may be using a gamepad but are doing in through PC.

Based on what I've played so far, this might wind up being the best Tekken. In a series with some real masterpieces in its lineage. The detail level is so crazy, the menu is just a close up of Kazuya's body. 😂
