He was good-neutral in tk1 According to the wikia: During the time of tekken 2, Kazuya's Devil Gene was trying to completely take over his mind and body, and the mysterious entity known as Angel struggled to keep it from controlling him entirely. Whatever was left of his good side appears to be totally suppressed by his Devil persona, and the two have become fully fused by the events of Tekken 4, allowing Kazuya to activate his Devil form at will.

Tekken 1 was one of the games that "sold" me on the PSX back in the day. Sure, it's a clunky mess today, but the infatuation with 3D fighters was strong in the mid-90s, back when the simple notion of "texture-mapping" was revolutionary, a notion that was extremely detrimental to VF until 2 came out. The fact that the PSX port was arcade-perfect sealed the deal. Good memories. ALSO, the track that plays at 5:40 brings back TONS of arcade nostalgia, as it was practically the anthem of my local Namco CyberStation (RIP) back in the day. That song was ALWAYS blasting across all the Tekken machines, next to the big ol' Cyber Sled, Ridge Racer, and Daytona machines. God I miss those days.

It's kinda fascinating seeing how many animations have been carried all the way through the series.

Tekken 1, and 2 where basically Seiichi Ishii’s take on Virtua Fighter if he was both Director and Designer. Which is why they where very similar. Ishii’s later games he designed would also have mechanics that would later carry in the newer VF and Tekken games.

I think Battle Arena Toshinden, was Sony/Takara's answer to the Samurai Showdown series, since SNK started the Weapon based fighters trend back in the early 90s

The first two Tekken games I played were Tekken 2 and 3. They're also my first 3D fighting games. I wouldn't be able to play the first game until I got Tekken 5 and played the Arcade History that is on the game. The Franchise got better by Tekken 2, like you said. Banjo Ginga was the original Heihachi Mishima and Ganryu before actors like Wataru Takagi (Tekken 2), Daisuke Gori (Since Tekken 3) and Unshio Ishizuka (Since Street Fighter X Tekken) took over. 8:05- In case you haven't noticed, Law's face Texture was made that his mouth always looks like it open. 18:33- I've noticed ever since I've first played Tekken 2.
