tekken8 sucks cause of plugging, constant disconnects from shitty optimziation, a horrible netcode so constant lag it also sucks cause of terrible balance and BS game designs. its literally just a knowledge simulator if you know the plus frames and how to counter stupid ass gimmicks than you win. you can get to red ranks just by mashing jabs with heat/rage art its so lame this game honestly sucks but ohwell maybe they can fix it cause it does play kinda nice and looks great visually

Edit: Also keep in mind that CPT has a pretty big japanese Corp as sponsor, TWT doesn't have such sponsor and its not just Capcom handing out that money for Capcom Cup anymore.

Not being able to rematch will add so much extra time to events, that's so unfair to TOs that hire venues for limited times and have to get through brackets quicker than most big events. If you want smaller events in the TWT, maybe actually think about their needs?

I don't think you should take away the stage choice. It was an elemental counter pick, sometimes almost as important as a character pick. Other times competitors would deliberately stand their ground on a disadvantageous stage to show their courage or their strong mentality. Lastly it would mean that if Bandai Namco chooses to release dlc stages they would always to a small degree change balancing if they favor a certain type of character. It would also mean that we cant really have any super crazy stages, because they would appear more regularily through random pick.

Force random stage is such a stupid rule back in T7 bc they make "rematch" option available in tournament mode and it's default option so a lot of people (especially in pool) will just mash rematch and waste everyone time, some pro player even use this stupid rule as a tactic, pretend to select rematch by mistake in order to stall and icing the opponent

I saw it coming after how the quality of REV Major 2023 was different compared to previous REV Majors. Either the organizers didn't apply for this year so that they have time to innovate and recuperate or maybe they got minimal sponsors hence low funds for this year or worse, they were not allowed to.

Overreaction to Zaf runaway strats from T7 it seems. Kinda nonsense tbh, since some characters are balanced around backloaded combo damage with walls, but now they can RNG 3 infinites in a row and get screwed.

Whachu mean no one? I saw plenty of people be fairly annoyed at the zafina/infinite combo or 2Ds going to howard estate. For me I can see the argument to both but if your character just clearly benefits from a certain stage like King and Anna do for the floorbreak stages then it makes no sense to allow you to pick it on purpose even if you loose. That's my take at least, and apparently TWT org agrees.

I have a bunch of scripts ready to auto block lows and throws, since these are allowed in the official ranked I'd like to ask you to provide me the opportunity to use these on setups in offline events. US and Canada get grouped into one Mega Region but Europe and East Asia gets 2 regions? That's stupid NA should be split in East and West at least, and maybe a Central region too. The NA population is too big for just 1 region. Capcom cup has FIVE regions for NA (US East/West/Central, Canada East/West)
