I've had issues with them in the past, which has been resolved when I contacted them and asked multiple times to release the copyright claim since they didn't own the music and I had proof. But, then, it was not your music. I think the current content ID system should be much better, and the labels who make false disputes should receive strikes just like normal youtubers do.

Thank your for posting this video! This continues to be a problem. That same company claimed copyrights to an iMovie sound effect I had in one of my videos. I contested the claim and told them the same of the sound effect and that it was from iMovie and was copyright free. They continued to insist it was their content, so I had to take the video down and redo it.

This video has certainly been a gathering ground for people who have been wronged by Believe music. I'm wondering what your thoughts are on pursuing some action against them. Do we have a case for a class-action or something along those lines?

3 years later, and KZfaq has done nothing. Two of my videos got claimed for bogus reasons by Believe Music.

Just got hit with their strike on one of my videos. The video in questions is a live recording of my friends band, so I asked my friends do they have some connections to Believe music. They said no, so I started googling and found your video. Sounds like a online scam Thanks for the info!

In my opinion, "believe" and "believe music" are two different companies. I got 3 copyright claims for using a track offered as Creative Commons from "believe music". There were Chinese characters in my copyright claim. Why would a French company with a German branch use Chinese characters? I wrote to "believe": The copyright claim does not come from them. With this licence, that would be pure nonsense.

great video! just made my video about this. they're saying they own the rights to a video of me literally writing a song from scratch in Logic X. disputed here on youtube and emailed them as well. the song is 100% my own work (no samples, loops, etc.). absolutely ridiculous. it's like youtube neglects enforcement on the things that actually matter.

I'm an independent creator of backing tracks, I totally support you. Believe music sent me more than 20 invalid copyright claims in the last 10 months, most of them detected 'manually', claiming tracks which weren't anywhere to be found on the market. They will never answer any of my email. As my KZfaq channel has about 20.000.000 views, it looks like this corporation is trying hard with every possible trick to steal monetisation. So far I've lost only the month they claimed, I wish I could protect myself more.

A past twitch vod of mine i was trying to export to youtube got copyright claimed by these bastards supposedly claiming a song in the video game Layers of Fear which as someone who seen many streamers and youtubers make videos on this game with no problem i am pretty sure they don't own any music in Bloober Team's games. I've also been affected by this. They claimed copyright in one of my videos to a song which they do not own and now I have to go through the 30 day dispute process because of it.

They're currently claiming my parody of Camila Cabello's very famous "Havana" by saying it belongs to Alejandra Roggero on the album...."Latin Lovers" haha. I disputed it but they disputed it right back...slippery buggers. When I say right back I mean they disputed it on like the 29th day. Gross. Tbh, I can't believe they're still going. It's been years and years and it seems like it's...ok for them to be doing this?

I got a copyright from this company a week ago, for using a royalty free track. How the heck did they find my channel? The video was up for 3 months before I got struck.

Believe Music wants to falsely content claim my two recent videos over the PS1 start up intro of mine. These idiots weren't even a thing back in 1994 and they're falsely claiming something from that year.

I am looking for the music of the 500hp turbo hayabusa GhostRider video. When I search the audio with google it gives me a track called Chris Tilma - Step 5. It has a piece of the audio of the GhostRider video randomly put into the song, so it comes up as if it is the song. I think I'll never know what audio track is used.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Your channel has inspired me to start sharing music I've made, and I have the same format: Completely free to use royalty free music for the community. It's hard enough getting noticed, I sure hope believe doesn't start fucking with my music. I want my subscribers to be able to use my music without concern.

I got a claim from them and it is on an audio that is owned by microsoft game studios (according to microsofts game studio rules they allow their material usage), checked the track that according to them i'm using, turns out that the person that created the music is using the same video game audio and calling it a "mix". So hopefully the dispute will get resolved soon.

Now, almost every Monty Python's Flying Circus sketch video, including those on the official Monty Python page, have been taken down due to copyright claims by Believe Entertainment Group.

they claimed 2 of my songs. Repost network another and some interstreet recordings. why are these companies claiming my original music as theirs and what the heck should i do. i filled disputes and so far one has been rejected by believe. im worried if i appeal it i will get a strike. any advice?

DON`T USE THAT LEGAL PAGE! If you do you have to check a box which sais you think that believe music is the rightful owner of the video they complained about! Maybe they changed it after this video got attention! Read carefully before sending that form!

Hello, I just have a case where I streamed music titles from Stellardrone - with his written consent - and for which I got a copyright claim from Believe SAS (Channel "NastyLover" who clearly copied several tracks of Stellardrone and claimed them for himself). I appealed to YT and informed Stellardrone. But - is there anything else I should consider or arrange for?

I'm dealing with them right now, too -- the best I can tell is they "sign" small international artists then use an algorithm to gobble up anything that matches a digital ID of these artists songs, unfortunately for folks like us these small artists use a ton of OUR original content to make their releases -- in our case rapping over our original beats -- so they latch on to our content & then use their "artists" as plausible deniability. Total and complete bullshit.
