My favorite touch in the final battle was before launching the final Teknobolt, Blade closes his eyes, thinks of Star one last time before obliterating himself and Darkon. Based heroic moment.

Most of this episode is joined sections with 2 scenes so it had to be essentially built from the ground up. I'm more than happy if nostalgia viewers see past the finer details and enjoy the ride but I appreciate the keen eye. Well done!

My theory is what I attempted to make more clear in this cut: Blade had already been in Teknoman mode for too long and his mind was barely held together by his loved ones and the energy from his brother's crystal. In the climax of the battle, after being completely outmatched and embracing his execution, Pegas sacrifices himself and is destroyed saving his master but Blade's crystal shatters. Blade's Teknoman energies and mind collapse as he grips his brother's crystal to summon Teknopower one final time. Blade channels his rage from his fleeting memories of his loved ones. Sabre's crystal allows Blade to errupt into Teknoman Plus with unstable energy, so powerful, Darkon cannot harm him. With a final scream, Blade thinks of his best memory, Star, while unleashing a Teknobolt. As he releases the blast, Nick telepathically forgives his older brother, "Conrad. Dear brother. It's over, at last". Darkon and the ship are destroyed while the unstable energies from the destruction of Blade and Sabre's crystals charge Nick's armour enough that he survives the fall to Earth, before it disintegrates. Nick survives but is permanently disabled and amnesic from the incident, but cared for by Star. He and Star would wed and spend their remaining days together.

I'll need a small break before diving into that. I essentially can't use my computer for a day when upscaling, but I'll be back on in a bit to deliver more content. Do appreciate your support and will make good - I've just got a few things I need to catch up on first.

I'll probably hold off a few months (closer to a year) until the AI enhancement gets better (and faster). An episode takes an entire day to render at present but it will get better and I will return to this!

In the Japanese Version (and my director's cut) yes, Balzac passes away from an impossible to survive event haha. Also, if I could say, the story ends here. No season 2. This bittersweet final scene is the perfect end to the story.

@@manueljordan317 Absolutely a tragic story telling device. Teknoman 2? For me, the story ends with Star and Blade enjoying the simplicity of a peaceful life, together.

I considered this, but after review I think it's s bad idea as it could lead to the channel getting taken down. Reforged already runs a fine line but at least has merit as a creative project being a director's cut. Simply upscaling and uploading raw work is asking for trouble and I think I'd rather not risk Blade's story reaching new people who can then rediscover the Japanese Versions and OMV's. Sorry if this isn't the answer you wanted but I hope you understand. I put countless hours in so people could discover and relive Teknoman and I'm satisfied if that's all this channel does.

None of the show is particularly happy, but that's what makes the themes and stakes so powerful. Though I did intentionally direct this to be more sombre with added emphasis the character's development (which is often through suffering...)

@@TeknomanReforged The scene where they have to turn the space ring lazers on the population is full on. I understand why western versions edited that out. I reckon the whole story would make a great trilogy of movies.

Let's just retcon Season 2 as part of Tekkaman and Teknoman finishes here. Let Blade have a bittersweet happy ever after.

I'm not sure if it exists, but is there a Tekkaman Polish translation? I'd be very surprised if there isn't for the 2016 re-release.
