How does the snap on compare to the tekton black high torque in terms of weight? I like a heavy feeling screw driver

They are both fairly similar.

The handles on the Tekton hi-torque screwdrivers do look funny but I've never found another style of handle that feels better in my hand. Even the Wera kraftform handles don't feel as good to me and they cost quite a bit more. Plus, it's really hard to beat that warranty as well as their rewards program.

@@Jethro2022 It's all subjective. Personally I dislike hard screwdriver handles, though most people seem fine with them. Strangely, I only use chrome-handled ratchets because comfort grips are too hard to keep clean. In then end, it's about what feels good in your hand and thankfully, the one that does also happens to be one of the more affordable options.

@@Jethro2022 I just tried to take a ratchet back to harbor freight that thing cost me 40 dollars I did not have my I'd so they would not do it and now I am so glad I started building my second box with TEKTON

Heyco is better than Snap-On, I had a flat head screwdriver from 1985, it came out of a BMW E28's toolkit and it worked great up until I lost it. Gotta watch those co-workers sketchy bosses, bringing Pittsburg to work from now on.

Heyco is a pretty good brand. Yep, you have to keep a watch on your tools. They like to spout legs and walk away lol

I tried to exchange a 40 dollar ratchet from harbor freight and did not have my I'd they asked for if I had known that I never would have bought from them. I am so glad I listened to others warnings and started building a second box with TEKTON and TEKTON is way better anyway ! I also prefer the deep broached sockets because a few times per year I have to stuff with paper towels but it they are not deep you are in trouble it makes a deep socket pointless like might as well just us a extension if the broach is not deep.

Best screwdriver i found are the wera green handle or insulated screwdriver. Never seen this test winder how the Dimond teat would grip on a pull. They are the beat i found over my tekton and snap on

I have seen various tool videos on yt and Tekton come out near or at the top nearly every time, they make great tools from what I have seen, I would buy them if I was in the US.

Yep, I started buying Milwaukee sometime in 2014-2015. I have added to it every year so far. So glad they don’t change batteries up anymore.

Tekton sells a version of the screwdrivers that has the same handle as the Snap-on. In fact they are less expensive than the one there. No flathead screwdrivers? What are you going to open up paint/varnish/etc cans with? LOL>

lol, I have plenty of prybars, I mean flat head screw drivers lol Yes, I really like those hard handle screwdrivers. I just wish they had a different color!
