... that Krieg Army is an absolute work-of-art. My-god; it's as much a tribute to miniature-gaming as it is to the fusion and preservation of classic military-elements of war. That is a true labor-of-love with a price-tag that could choke an elephant. Lovely to see it in action...

DG player here. LOVED the deployment of the scenery for this skirmish. Watching generals forced to maneuver squads down narrow corridors and funneling them into claustrophobic trenches captured the feel of the WH40k universe well on the tabletop. One of the things I've come to appreciate about this channel is their thoughtful placement of terrain around the board, and how that will affect decisions made as both forces strive for op-sec in their own unique way.

How do you keep track of what unit is what if they are the same unit and look the same. Example would be those pox walkers. Im noob so I was wondering about that when they both attack together and pile in. Same with like imperial guard squads or hordes of orks.

@@savagex466-qt1io you either just remember because you’re the one putting them down or some people have colourised bases. There’s places you can get things that clip on the base that give it a coloured edge. Of you can just paint the back or the base a different colour.

Death Guard player here, its always nice to see Terminus Est batreps! The recent (undeserved) nerfs really did a number to it, so I'm glad it can still get shown off, even without Typhus. Lord of Contagion is one of my favorite models too, so its cool seeing him in the spotlight as well

A note to the melee situation with the "fire on my position" strat. Is says a UNIT with a Vox caster not a MODEL so you can have the sarge as the last Model on the table and still use the strat :) and now you don't have to pay pts for the vox yaay

You never want to take 1-shot weapons on BS 4+ Guardsmen; you need to roll more dice. Heavy bolters or autocannons...

Yeap, either more dice or better chance to hit/wound, preferably both. After seeing that heavy weapons team there is 0 chance I would ever run it

I think for DKoK - the artillery was iffy - but it definitely did contribute a lot - which was surprising. If you had the Macharius Vulcan - I think that might have been a better play against DG - the problem with Vanquisher anything is the sheer randomness of the dice rolls and the rules are …. The Vulcan has so many shots that it can annihilate whole units in one round of firing. Heavy weapons teams - I would bring auto cannons instead of Lascannons, you get more shots and more chances to hit instead of single shots with lascannons. On the Sentinels - I don’t typically see them so either a flamer or AC works okay? Overall - I really liked the episode a lot.

Pretty good game and nice armies! I love Tempest of War as Maelstrom was my favorite format in 8th. I could do without the Actions personally, but I appreciate having another way to play.

I love the battlerep of you with the Death Guard. There is just one thing. As far as I know do Poxwalkers have a 5+ feel-no-pain (as the codex says). They are still following the rules for the disgustingly resilience from 8th edition.

Krieg want to lean into supporting vehicles or artillery so their doctrine can actually proc. So under utilized in the krieg games, a small number as it is, from what I can tell.

So rare to see the Death Korps so many Death korps models there that are discontinued by forge world like the quartermaster and the Grenadiers. If they are going to make the Death korps in plastic they should have kept the proper look the new death korps from GW look to goofy and silly. All ill say is that is a lot of money on the table from the death korps player nice

This kreigarmy (with completely useless 300 point models such as Macharius Vanquisher) was fun and fluffy, and was not remotely competative. I'm not enturely sure why he was matched against a death guard army of renown, which is one of the more viable ways of running this 9ed army that was placing in tournaments not that long ago. The extremely low damage output of the guard (d3 damage battle cannon for example) against the very tough death guard made this a no-win fight for tke kreig player, and consequently no fun to watch. How does Luka chose his lists?

How did you know? The macharius vanquisher (with 2 dedicated anti tank shots) being a a useless overcosted thing with nothing better to shoot at than chaos spawn feels really bad for the guard player. Having luka spend 500 points a big stupid off-meta units like defilers or land raiders would have been an decent compromise.

Nurgle needs a nerf. They have numbers, hard to hit hard to wound. As soon as I saw the armies I called it for Death Guard. Unreal.

Not really, considering Death Guard got hit by a nerf recently, and a pretty undeserved one as most agree. Its more that the DKOK need a buff to come back to relevance.

@@beaushaver3779 death guard is att moment in competive seen as lowest armys with 40% win rates for now and army that have harder time play tournament missions for now when mission want objective secured and units that can do actions. And plague marines only one for them.

@@NastyStankyChicken Idk I think their tournament listings are misleading they as a faction and army are strong pound for pound they are just slow and relatively elite unless you swarm with pox walkers so are bad at playing mission objectives. So mechanically they are very strong but tactically as far as mission objectives go yes they are bottom tier.
