The Ent armies special rules would have been pretty valuable here, pretty big deal to forget they cause terror and are uneffected by the used spells in this battle.

Always great to see MESBG on here - a shame forgetting 2 of the key Fangorn special rules (fear and ignore magical movement effects) but fun to watch anyway. More games means less mistakes!

Nice to see some more SBG stuff on here! Ents are really fun and quite unique as an army, not always ideal for competitive tournaments but fun to play and great for some easy and effective paintjobs, conversions etc. that make your army look great.

One thing i didn't get was Charging with spear supports, when they could just support without throwing for courage and they won't be attacked :)

Just a heads up, the Fangorn Army bonus means you're unaffected by magic

@@theinquisitor9836 transfixed/immobilise is a spell thst would prevent them from moving, therefore they are completely unaffected by the spell as per the army rule

Unaffected by magic affecting movement, as well as Nature's Wrath and Wrath of Bruinen. Chill Soul still works.

With this scenario, and the army compositions, unless Sauron is able to tie up Treebeard the whole game, he should be able to really rack up the kills against the orcs.

Tbh, much as I enjoy watching MESBG, the army interactions here made this less enjoyable than it should. Just repeatedly watching the big models get surrounded, drowned in dice, AND constantly unable to do anything but move because transfix is a good spell. GG to both players, just a bit unfortunate how things turned out.

I think the Ents should of been immune to movement magic, so it should of gone the other way..possibly
