Llamad Mow I should have been more clear about the Starter Set miniatures. The miniatures come with the miniature pack called Icons of the Realm: Starter Set. It is a see-through pack with six miniatures in it (five are the five in this game plus Drizzt). The Starter Set for Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition comes only with a pack of dice, and the Rulebook and starter Campaign book, again with the same 5 characters but not the miniatures. Sorry to confuse if I did. Thanks for watching along!

Yes, if you want a relatively simple RPG in a box this one will work quite well. There can be a few ambiguous rules to figure out though, but once you do it's pretty straight forward. Thanks for watching along!

Hmm. The only things I showed in this video that did not come with the game were the pre-painted miniatures and the red bingo chips I use in place of the trap tokens . . . you should have gotten everything else. If not, you will need to contact Wizkids and get your missing items.

All the D&D Adventure game series games are rather simplistic, but that's their appeal I think. I don't have Dungeon Saga so can't compare the two games except for what I've seen in reviews and some play throughs. I like to be able to play solo and so Dungeon Saga has not appealed to me much even with the solo rules which seem quite bad from what I can gather. +Paul Darcy hello again! i did a couple missions with some friends and a few things are not quite clear: first, i've had two action figures broken (troglodyte + fire bat), did you have such a problem? -When you put a Rage of Imix token, does it activate immediately? I guess yes but... Is there any way to remove those? -Adventure 3, it's not clear to me about how to reveal the villagers? it's written that if you don't reveal a character matching someone face up, then you put it face down. Then, how do you put them face up if, at the beginning, you don't have anyone face up? Thanks.

+xavdu80 Yes, I had 1 fire bat broken off the stand - super glue fixed it. That was my only mini issue though. As for the Imix tokens, yes they trigger immediately and they stay - I don't think you can get rid of them so best not stick around on that particular tile! How I play the villager mission is once I reveal one villager I leave it face up - then when I find the second of the same face I've found the doppleganger . . . make sense? Can only have adv or dis-adv once, so they don't stack. You can just walk over a trap (it will trigger) but doesn't stop you in your tracks. If you actively disable it though you have to stop. Thanks for watching along!

The surge tokens are used for reviving a fallen character. 5 sounds correct. But the game says use 2 as a standard. You are welcome to add or decrease to scale the difficulty for your self.

I found the PC game pretty faithful to the rules, but once the battles started it was game over. TPK again and again. Ruthless, nasty PC game. I do prefer this one as well. Ha ha.

@@PaulDarcy the main problem of the pc game was the amount of bugs and crashes.

quensalters Having collected a few (couph, hundreds) of previous Dungeons and Dragons miniatures before Wizkids got involved, I have to agree. While the paint jobs are actually pretty good, the miniatures themselves are not of as high a quality (plastic material and poses) as the ones from the previous sets.
