Halo 4 was a good game. Takes guts to do something this creative and over the top. If the problems people had were how things looked and sounded and they were actually telling a story this time as opposed to just having events loosely strung together with no explanation other than shooting aliens because they’re evil, then I think that’s a good game. 343 could’ve just completely abandoned everything that halo was and all the features people had before with bungie. But they didn’t. What matters to me is that Halo is not boring and has a lot of charm and fun things to do while pushing technology and graphics. Halo 4 did that exceptionally. Plus, it’s fun to break out of the map and fight the promethean bionicles. The forerunners were a perfect new direction, and they gave up because people didn’t like Halo 5? They only just got started. I thought bungie had well and truly played out the series by reach to the point of wanting to leave and make a new one, so apparently the solution is to go back to the mess bungie left us in? Screw that. I want a real halo 6 with the bionicles. I’ve had enough of bungie poisoning Destiny as it is, they’re a liability to halo. Just look at what Joe Staten did to infinite in a year’s time. Seeing what bungie are now under Sony makes me think all those halo games they made were just a lucky series of flukes. No bungie people is probably a good idea. Say what you will about 343’s attitude, but you can’t say that they didn’t try really hard to make something special and we got some really fun and interesting results.
