Tempsford airfield bear Sandy, Bedfordshire, was a Second World War airfield but not that well known as it was a secret one. Lot of the buildings were to be made out to be farm barns so couldn’t be spotted from the air. Most flights took secret agents and supplies behind the enemy lines.
