After further consideration, I would rank him as the new number 12 hero, just less than Alric. Bonus info: 1. He unlocks at stage 12 2. The smaller earthquake AOE actually does true damage! 3. You can teleport him in the middle of summoning meteors to redirect the last one to his new location (the one he teleports to). 4. The 100% stun chance is at the back of the AOE, but the direction he faces means it isn’t always closest to the exit. 5. He does actually have 8 bars for speed. The hero room stats shown on the video are being updated as we speak.

I really like the idea that Ten Shi in some way developed the meteor ability we have in the game, that to me really sells him as an ancient force

I'd like to think that Ten'shi was an old hero in the early days of Linirea who mentored all of the heroes when they were young, with some of them inheriting his traits over time as a result of their training.

This guy is insane, just tested him few seconds ego on Rotwick(to lvl him up quickly). Probably the strongest hero in KR1. He's literally few heroes combined. You got Ingvar immortality, Malik aoe stun, Magnus teleport, but it's just better, insane aoe damage and mini rain of fire, this guy is insane.

Well this was unexpected from ironhide side. Hmmm maybe an impossible mode for frontiers or even the original would be a good addition. I can already imagine:saurian brute has high armor now,savant has 1500 HP, Umbra has high magic resistance ohhhh.

Great review! A couple very minor things: - The quake attack's initial impact actually deals true damage, not physical. This is also true for both Malik and Young Malik, and the wiki is wrong about it. - Since the quake can be aimed both ways, it's not always the one closest to the exit that has 100% stun chance, but the one furthest from Ten'shí. - One thing to note is that the level 10 Iron Time cooldown is 22s and Firerush! is 25s, so they almost match up. With a little micro, you can get them to sync up pretty nicely. - Troll Chieftains are great punching bags, as they barely regen slower than Ten'shí damages them. You can get a lot of xp from them.

I'd argue he's definitely Top 10.He's at the same level as ignus if not better.He does true damage,Teleports,Has massive area physical damage and Invincibility

The Original Kingdom Rush Is Simpler than Other KR Games. That's why it's my Favourite. I wish Iron Hide game Studios add Even more Stuff to the original Kingdom Rush

Ten'Shi is much better in KR1 than they would be anywhere else. Fragile melee with a teleport. Kr1 healing helps so freaking much. Vengence healing would probably make him quite weak, most heros arnt that affected by it

I'm most assuredly not going to question Voduke's ratings of the heroes in comparison to others in the series since he put so much time, effort, and research into comparing them. (And because I literally haven't played any of The Kingdom Rush Series besides KR1) But there's definitely something to be said about just how strong teleporting is in a game where Heroes regenerate to full health in about 4 seconds. Due to the fact that once Ten Shi levels up enough he also has access to an invincible state as well as stun AOEs make him ridiculously versatile and practically unkillable. In the hands of a smart player who's paying attention, Ten Shi can zip around combat to do practically any task needing attention provided he's not in Iron Time. This guy is freaking OP if you can use him right, not to mention just like Voduke said in the video, he's also just a lot of fun. And if anything, that's the most important part.

It can be annoying when Ironquake travels the wrong direction. If a single enemy passes by Ten'shí while he transforms, he will prioritize that one and send Ironquake towards the exit, even if there are lots more targets the other way.

There is a little exploit with teleportation: you actually can make heroes teleport closer than intended. If you click somewhere far enough for teleportation to start and then quickly click somewhere else, the hero will teleport to the place you last clicked. Its only really useful on slow heroes and can be hard to do on mobile devices, but my favourite hero is Magnus and his walking speed is so bad that teleporting even a amall distance is still faster than going on foot, so with some micro I pretty much use him as reinforcements
