Tenerife, Hiking from Santiago Del Teide to Masca.
After a rather rocky uphill start, the trail takes us onto the Cumbre de Bolico ridgeline with wonderful views over the Masca Valley, Las Portelas and the Atlantic ocean. Unfortunately, a Calima has hit the islands, which reduces the ocean views.
The trail from Santiago Del Teide to Masca is a fantastic ridge walk over the Cumbre de Bolico - which is the meteorological divide between the north and south. The trail leads us to the beautiful mountain village of Masca, deep in the heart of the Teno mountains. Masca is definitely one of the most beautiful village in Tenerife.
