This is the best one, I love to see the travel from beginning to end, so this was an awesome vlog for me personally. The Sol Tenerife seems far from the ocean though. Good tip on facing away from the Veronicas.

Getting off the plane to heat in winter is the best feeling ever..... I went to the dominican republic in december once and london gatwick was like 5.c outside and when i touched down in the DR it was 30.c and the caribbean sun just beating down

Great video Lee as always, brilliant editing. I was in Tenerife last month cost £580 for myself and the Mrs for 1 week including 20kg each luggage self catering at Aguamarinia Golf Apartments in Golf Del Sur only 15 mins from the airport - transfers are 15 mins in a taxi and cost 12.50 euros. Lovely little place a lot quieter than Playa but you do get daily free return coach trips from the hotel to Los Cristianos, Playa & Costa Adeje if you fancy a bit of noise. The apartments are superb, they are very spacious and have a bath with an overhead shower and a separate shower cubicle as well (and a bidet :-)). I defo suggest you check Golf Del Sur out my friend, a lot cheaper than Playa or Adeje.

@@ConeArmy, hey bro, to be honest, I am not totally sure so don't take my word too serious, but I think if you have experience you can get a job in Las Americas, there are always bars and pubs hiring, it seems to me that it shouldn't be so hard for you, again don't just take my word on it, perhaps you can try to make a search before jumping into an airplane or maybe you can just have some vacations here and search around. Good luck... btw, careful... you may end up liking it here quite a lot. XD

Great vlog and lucky you back out there again, we have never landed in that direction before but I guess like you said it was because of the turbulence. Two years ago today (23rd) we flew out for five days over Christmas and it was fantastic and so need to do it again soon. 👍

The Turkish bar /restaurant down from the Columbus hotel PDLA on same side superb authentic reasonable priced food. Euro a pint all time and was surprisingly good lager for a euro.

When I stayed in Sol Tenerife the hotel was full of cockroaches, I had to fill holes in the bathroom walls and ceiling with tissue to keep them at bay. Also good tip about block B to avoid the noise from veronicas.. I moved room from A block after the first night. Won’t be back to that hotel..

£314 is a bit expensive for just three days, then again Jet2 flight's are usually double that of Ryanair. I paid about £215 for 4 nights which included my flight and 4 nights stay in an air b n b near Columbus hotel. Only paid just over £80 return with Ryanair which included priority boarding and seats. Then a 3.70 euro bus ticket from airport to Las Americas, yes I'm a cheapskate lol.

Thats seems very cheap. Me and a friends have just paid £965.00 Pp 8 nights in the sol tenerife hotel (all inclusive) flights included but no transfer. Leave on 22nd December return 30th December

Not really, was last minute, it was for work to film these vlogs. Included flights, transfers, hotel, Breakfast. Booked day before.

Sorry to hear that. I have stayed there many times and have had no issues. Can you enlighten us as to why you dislike The Sol? Have you had some bad experiences? If so did you let them known to the management at The Sol?
